They are under a 3VL turned all the way down at 18 inches so about 32 watts. Some are short, some normal and yes a couple are leggy. Its my first time vegging under this light.
Have you tried using a Lux meter under the cobs to see how much light you are giving the seedlings? Something like this might really be helpful for dialing in the light strength. I use it all the time with my HID to adjust height.

Dr.meter LX1010B Digital Illuminance/Light Meter, 0-100,000 Lux Luxmeter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004K0A7I6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_MbogEbKDP2P45

These are the lux guidelines that I use with my HID....although I skew to the high side.
  • Clones and seedlings: 5,000–7,000 lux
  • Vegetative growth: 15,000–50,000 lux
  • Flowering: 45,000–65,000 lux
  • Maximum recommended amount of light: 75,000 lux

Things are going good, gave them another light hit of NFTG this morning. In a few days I am going to start to rev things up as I plan on flipping on Valentines day. Still unsure about the Triple Whammy's, one is doing ok but kind of deformed. The other is staying smallish.

As far as the cure from the last chop, I feel its coming along. I've been puffing on the 8 Ball Kush all week nothing top shelf but a decent smoke. I am still waiting to try the Bubble Gum Boogie. The jars don't yet have a dank smell which I think is coming but they smell fruity as fuck. Like Kool Aid.

@twalte Thanks for reminding me about checking lux. To my surprise I was almost on the money for this current stage.

I’m glad that the lux meter works with these lights. I assumed we needed a par meter, so I was looking for a good quality par meter and seeing that they run over $500 for a decent one!! Between managing the height of the light and the dimmer, I was unsure how to determine ideal distance to the plants other than “trial and error”.

Yea I seen a review on Amazon saying these don't work with LED, might not be perfect but will give a guideline. I am still going to play with it but I usually just watch the plant, they will tell you whats up.

@Bobby2times I think we will be alright also, mine have seem to slow down a bit on just springing up. I've been giving them light doses of NFTG for a couple days and they loving it, yesterday it was around 500ppm. Now for some pictures.

Chill Factor. These have been growing nicely, seem like strong little plants. You know the saying that sometimes the freebies are better than what you bought!

Sundae Float. Leggy but hopeful.

Weird how just that one is reaching for the lights and the others are happy. Do you think it will be like that in veg?

No idea LG. I think they are starting to settle in some. My last grow kinda started the same way, but in the end the plants were short and stocky. All I did last grow was top 5 of the 7 plants once. Two of the plants had nothing done to them, but they stayed all kind of the same. I have an idea why, but I need to email a guy to confirm what I am saying is correct before I say it.

Your off to an excellent start Flatrate! I always struggle with germination. Those leaves on the triple whammy are quite interesting, so it will be interesting to watch her grow out.

You could always bury the leggy ones....

Nothing exciting to report, they are growing good. Yesterday I gave them another treatment of Cultured Biologix Dr.Root. I think tomorrow I am going to transplant most of them and as @twalte mentioned a couple will be going deep.

As far as the last crop. Been curing for about 2 1/2 weeks now. I finally tried the Bubble Gum Boogie a couple days ago, I am very pleased with it so far.

Just puffed one rolled with Bubble Gum Boogie, only the second time. Smells like Kool Aid, loud terpenes, when you first open the jar it kinda comes off as strong and offensive but leave the jar open for a minute and the room fills with a sweet fruity gassy aroma. Potent as well!

That's kinda how our Cindy99 turned out. I can burp the barrel, and it smells like Cindy has a yeast infection, but after a couple of minutes, it smooths out like a Summers Eve LOL.
