what issue was that? and how many lumens per watt a t5 put out?

thats a t5 but i wouldnt use it to flower, even if I had CFL's in addition to it. theyre too long and have bad penetration. if u keep them any further than 10" away from a plant its almost pointless..unless u have a bunch of them then i'd say go for it, but there are plenty of other options to get better results, but its up to mattso
 
I saw the article. Good info. 8 bulb 400w T5 fixture. 4 plants totalled "5.5oz - if you include the hash oil that I made from the trim and popcorn nuggetts".
 
Thats the one grey skull! I am now half way through flowering and my plants did not streach at all! I mean at all. I have two Bonzi plants. I dont really care cause there is alearning curve . Next time I will veg for twice as long to get a decent yeild I inagine I will get a half ounce total for the two plants. I consider that good for the first time. lot of people dont even get a harvevst first time. I love the T5s and plan on getting more when I move july 1st. next harvest will be much better . My plants now aremall but buds are gowing nice and dense and filling out . They are already very sugary and are only half way through flowering. I have been feeding them bloom nutes now the shitz 1-11-1 and will be getting them some more additional nuted to add with. I promise pics soon!
 
just got back from thr grow shop and I picked up some B'cuzz bolom stimulator to add into my teas. its organic 0-0.01-0.7. It was Highly recommended to my by a few people. I am going to go with a differnt Nutrient formula next time instead of the shitz I like it and its good if your on a budget and I was. As time goes on I will be adding to mu nutes and lights.

I will be starting a new grow journal in the next week or so to show my new seedlings grow up. look out for Narpal grow #2 done right!
 
I was at one of those Big box stores and saw a 150w HPS flood light. does anyone think this will be worth the $70 to add into my closet?
 
ya more lgiht the better. the real question is... can u pay the electricity bill? and how many floros you already have? cause u can jsut get the 150 watt hps and supplement it with a shit load of floros or cfl's. just have the hps above and all the floros on the sides and around the hps. thats what i plan on doing. i just need to get a ballast that i cna plug into my wall.
 
My two small plants are looking pretty good I think. They have a nice center cola forming with some small side buds. I chopped a couple of the lower branches off 2 weeks into flowering next time I will chop some more to consentrate on my main colas ( for the Narpal strain anyway) the shity cell phone pics do not do them justice! I know they are small but I still cant wait to smoke them. The seed pack said 52 day from 12/12 I will most likly go longer since I am only using floros (for now).

That question got me thinking... I was running my 400mh 24/7 for a billing cycle (didn't have the bloom 600hps or mothers 400mh running) and my bill almost tripled. $50-$150. How has your electricty bill been?
