I wouldnt worry about color if its just how it turned out but yea sometimes less heat can make it lighter color. Inwould do one at 180F, one at 200 and one 220F and see what I like best about each temp and choose what I like best and make a bunch of that.
Its real cut and dry, flower rosin pressing. I find they just do what they do and nothing really raises yield. Each press same batch can be different. One press 20%, one 17% and one 15% it can change. So I just calculate overall yield.
