If you have some polarized sunglasses put them in front of the camera lens, works like a charm and no more lines.

You dont count the first week of 12/12 as flower time its a transition time for at your 43 guess your actually at 36 days or just at 5 weeks flower. Depending on the strain your looking about 3-5 weeks more for indica heavy or 5-7 weeks for a full on sativa. Hybrids somewhere in the middle of that.

I for one always flush. i grow hydro and do 3 flushes in the grow. If you do not flush you always taste the difference always. Been doing this over 20 years and there is a huge difference. A good flush is used in nutriendt feed switches to ensure to roots and system are clear and give you a good clean baselin for your new feed schedule. At the end I like to flush the last 5-7 days with ph 5.5 water and a flushing agent. The buds will taste , smell and burn much better then non flushed. Non flushed is always harsher, will have different tastes and you get a pop and weird burn on non flushed buds. I wont say non flushed bud isnt good but anyone who does it side by side can not deny the difference. Some who are not really connoisseurs may not caring but those who really get into the true characteristics of the strains always prefer flushing. In hydro you can get a salt build up if using nutes which I have had happen when I tried skipping fresh flushing during the grow.

I do agree with you on that. If you dont stop nutes and use just water in the last week that smoke is harsher and you can taste it in the smoke and you for sure get that popping when the buds are burning. GEt the extra nutes out of the soil and let the plant use up what is left over. I do Ph'd water and I forgot to metion I use Humbolt Honey Hydro carbs for that last week after I Clearex just to keep the plants going on sugars. Since I started doing this my end smoke is much better. But to each their own, do what works out best for you. I am in 50/50 Happy frog soil and Sun Shine Mix 4 Coco.
