I have a hps light about 8 inchs+ on other plants 1000w king double chip led about a little close at 5-6inchs above and outta way of blocking hps light. The only nutrients I used was very little alaskian fish nutes which is 5-1-1 and big bloom on day 14 at 1/3 power. Temps in my room vary from 60 being lowest at night and 81 tops during the day I keep the humidity at 40%. The growing medium is just all organic and I feed them nute water once every week sometimes every 2 weeks instead depends on how they look. I'm just a noob trying to get help it doesn't make it easy for us when people are so hard on other people. I haven't posted because I didn't get my notifications for some reason but they are all doing good now . Buds are gorgeous looking
8 inch sounds a bit close for HPS non cooled, and I'd say 5 inches is too close if your LED especially if you got lenses and the led chip above 3w,the temps are best with a 10°C difference between day and night.LED grown Preferring 81f day time,HPS grown High 70s max day time, remember the people who are hard on you bro they were in the exact same position at 1 time and they're still learning, any grower tells you they know it all is a bullshitter, they're on here for starters. I have come across a few canna snobs lol

Eight is way to close for a 600 I keep mine at 18 inches or bleaching can happen, that is when the chloroplasts die off from radiation look at any professional grow the lights are always a couple feet away

That's what I thought, I think that's what the main problem might be, light burn and he treated as it had a deficiency and got multiple problems now.i used to keep my air cooled hood 18 inch min,led further again with mine cause of the lenses

exactly, been there done that I don't know how many times I misdiagnosed a problem in my days it was yea, put more nutes on it that should work, then more problems then shit really hits the fan when the roots become weak

Correct measurements are 10inchs from top on the led and my hps is 14inchs from smaller ones and 12 from my big plant. My hps is cooled and I cut a top in my tent to it's level with the top of my tent.plus my hps is also cool tube annnnnnd I also have it to where all heat leaks outside the tent

I havent heard of that led light tbh,but I would say your too close if the chips are 10w, it's trial and error if you don't have any manufacturers guidelines, I have a GOD 4 LED panel if I had mine that close it would fuck them up and I wouldn't make the most of the light distribution through the lenses,so I am more like 20 + inches away maybe More, but it's totally different technology to your LED maybe looking on here for grows with your light would be your best option dude

Yes I flushed them yesterday and they perked up nice and tall and today I gave them very watered down nute water because when I flushed them it was all clear water coming out so I figured very very little nutes would be good. I used half recommended dose and then halfed that with more water so it wasn't gonna be powerful at all. Well I'm hoping so first grow I'll learn my mistakes from hands on and reading
So you say you flush them yesterday and then today you gave them water down newts? you're likely overwatering

I don't water it but every other 2 days maybe that if the soil is dry a couple inches down. Ill have to watch it then I guess.
Yes this was 7 days ago and cause was underwatering lol

Okay I went back & reread..

Problem is in those roots.
You sure those are fungus gnats you dealing with?

Doesn't matter if it was a week ago or not, you're not letting plants dry out enough, probably why you're having root issues and yellow and brown spotting

I can tell you its the fungus gnats. The larvae have eaten your root system up and now they are struggling for nutrients. Easy fix going forward all you need is to be mindful. First get some glue boards or really sticky tape.I use ice and water shield from the roofing. Put them all over the place try cutting them so they fit on the top of you pots.also you need to get B/T wafers they soak in your watering can for 24 hours this will kill the larvae.you need to stop the breeding cycle. Once you notice they are gone DONT STOP you gotta keep at it there pretty resistant. Once you kill them all off the b/t should be used all the time it takes nothing but letting the wafer sit.

I experienced fungus gnats on my first ever organic grow, they were literally everywhere and springtails, I dried the soil mixed neem meal into the soil and I was astonished when I looked a few days later I had a layer of white fury mold over the soil so I turned the soil to see if I still had them and I couldn't find any,all gone within 5 days all of the soil was clear of them. The adults don't live long it's the larvae that's the issue. I will always have neem just for that reason alone now

They were crawling over top of my neem meal lol fungus gnats and RA they just got a will to live and the best thing to do is to stay away from fox farm soil hahahahaha

I think drying out the soil killed the adults and the neem meal finished the larvae off,it also left a carpet layer of mold completely covering the surface and wondering if that helped create a inhabitable place for gnats and larvae to thrive, maybe someone can back my theory up with science as its just a sceptical theory for now lol.
