Flowering

Ok so I'm new at all this and it's become a hobby that I'm really liking, that being said I've been reading you all different post about many things. My question is how long does the average flowering stage last, these pictures are of some clones a friend gave that were close to being dead and as you see they are alive and well. I'm not sure what strain they come from but they smell really nice I'm just not sure h9w long to keep them in the flowering stage , how often I should have my watering system set for . This is a closet grow ,1000w has bulb 12on 12off . Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Just leave the lights on 12/12 & judge by looks & not the calendar.
Water when the pots begin to feel light, don't let them dry out completely, a wilted plant in flower is a bad thing.

Thank you , it's on a automatic water system, once every other day , they seem to be doing pretty but have really took off as far as hight the past couple day. Thank again

from 50 days to 190 days. depends on what strain you have.sativas usually take longer indicas shorter.but hybrids have a mind of their own soo they can be 50 or 70 or 100.... in the end you just have to learn how the finished flower looks.
allsoo if a breeeder says it takes 7weeks its usually 9weeks they lie to sell it or maybe they have super perfect conditions nobody can match...(maybe because they dont do any trening its allways 1 top in the photos)

your grow looks like it just started.by the end of flower it will be really hard to see those white hairs

i must say for 1000W they all look really small? are they dwarf automatics?

What media are they in? Is there plenty of drainage in the buckets? Plants are looking just fine so far. You keep them in flower until they are done. Could be 10 weeks, could be 13 weeks. Genetics and environment play a big roll in that.

Yes the bottom of the bucket have plenty of holed drilled in them , I wish I new the origin of these plants and I'm looking forward to growing some seeds I ordered. When I got these clones they were only about 8 inches tall and there is one that pretty didn't grow taller at all . Not sure why

Soil , like I said I wasn't sure what I was doing so it's a mix of potting soil and outdoor soil , they seem to like it. But I do have another question, should I still be trimming the bigger upper leaves so that the lower buds gets more light , I've been reading up on it and some say yes and others say no.

No they were clones that were close to death , that and I ordered some nice seeds that I'm looking forward to growing so once I got these guys somewhat healthy I put them into a flowering stage , yes I know I should of let them grow a whole lot more but I didn't think they would even live much less come out looking like this. He gave me 6 clones for 30 bucks and I thought it would be a good learning experience.

then they will flower exactly the same time as his unless your enviorment is different.then plus minus 1-2 weeks
they look awsome nice topping

I think I've just gotten lucky, I had no clue what I was doing at first , been reading alot about indoor growing, I'm wondering if I should be still trimming the upper bigger leaves so that the smaller ones that are low and inside are able to get more light.

You are off to a good start. You definitely don't need to trim any more. Those plants should be getting plenty of light if you've got a 1000w blub on them. Just keep them healthy and be patient at this point.

Definitely keep an eye on the moisture. Now that they are flowering they may need more frequent watering/feedings. You don't need anything super special to feed them, but they will need to be fed something to give them enough energy to get through harvest.

Being patient is getting kinda hard , they smell so good . Lol and I can't wait get my next grow going ,

what i did when i didnt have anything to smoke, take one of those fan leafs full of crystals. or cut a few popcorns from the bottom and smoke a few

Well you've got many weeks left so give your patience a double check. Those plants have just started flowering, and its going to take a couple months still before they are worth trying to smoke.

It looks like you have a decent amount of space left, go a head and start some more plants so you can get them going. When they are small they don't need lots of light so you can put them under some CFL bulbs or a little floro light. Then once your current plants are done you will have more new plants ready to roll. It might also keep you busy so you aren't thinking about these plants.
