when you guys use orgainc nutrients, do u guys still flush, even though the salts are not as harsh as a synthetic ferts.
For real? I have also heard harvesting early morning is best because light damages trichomes so the earlier in the morning the better, theoretically in the dark if you could. I would love to prevent the flush to keep giving the plants nutes when it is crucial... I mean everyone knows...they PLUMP up the last week or so.I never flush unless there is a good reason to like lockout or nute burn. I see a lot of threads about people who flush at the end of harvest but you are only starving your plants of nutrients in their final stages. If you simply don't want it to taste bad then harvest early A.M. just before sunrise before the nutrients go back up into the plant. If you harvest while that stuff is up in the leaves/buds then you get a horrible harsh taste.
always flush... if u want, flush with 2-3 tblsps of mollases to a gal of water... that willl sweeten and fatten ur buds... i use it from week 5-6 to choppy chop at week 8.. its a flush and a feed in 1
for sure will def. do so. it's unsulphured. I can't remember why but back when I did the research I came to the conclusion that unsulphured was better.nah.. i always flush.. i know better then not to... ive seen joints burn black and uneven and taste like shit... sum dont even burn cuz they r so toxic... is the mollases ur using sulphered or unsulphered??? as for the micros/secondary nutes... im not sure if they play a plart in the burning part when u smoke it... ur commment makes sense but i as well as others have had no probs.. check around and see what ya find out
Flushing gets rid of pollutants, fertilizer salts, toxins and other harmful materials so your crops smell and cure with better aroma, taste and value. Because your plants store nutrient materials that create problems with crop taste, curing and aroma, flushing plants at the end of bloom phase is a way to increase the quality and worth of your crop.that just doesn't make sense though. If the purpose of flushing is to get rid of nutes because nutes burn harsh then molasses would too.... molasses feeds the microbes... the molasses i use has like 730mg of K so after the microbes eat it the plant absorbs it...it's still nutes.
But I always like lab in high school more then I did the bookwork, so I will go with experience over anything. Your buds tasted and smoked fine? Have you ever not flushed and had the experience that so many talk about with the harsh burning buds?
