Phoenix Air has released a statement explaining why the now infamous non-HazMat-wearing 'clipboard man' seen in close proximity to Dallas Ebola patient Amber Vinson (while the rest of the members of staff are fully protected) was unprotected... and it will blow your mind.
Why is "Clipboard Man" not wearing protective gear?
Phoenix Air responds (via ABC News)...
The airline confirmed to ABC News that the man was their medical protocol supervisor who was purposefully not wearing protective gear.
"Our medical professionals in the biohazard suits have limited vision and mobility and it is the protocol supervisor’s job to watch each person carefully and give them verbal directions to insure no close contact protocols are violated," a spokesperson from Phoenix Air told ABC News said.
"There is absolutely no problem with this and in fact insures an even higher level of safety for all involved," the spokesperson said.

So - in summary - due to the restrictive vision when wearing an Ebola-protective suit, one member of staff must be sacrificed/exposed to ensure no one trips?
And these are who we are supposed to trust?

Access. You need to be able to have a naked patient to work on as quickly as possible, it's easier for a healthcare worker to suit up then the patient. Ever tried to put clothing on 'dead weight?' How about dead weight that requires you hug it tightly and come into more direct contact with it to put said clothing on. Contact precautions are easier for anyone but the patient to take typically.
That idiot should have been farther back, and a bare minimum of hospital provided long sleeve scrubs, n95, sealed eye protection and a pair of gloves should have been worn if they were moving a patient. It appears they are opening up the aircraft though, no patient yet.

You know the Nurse in Texas that flew on the plane? The CDC TOLD HER IT WAS OK TO FLY, the nurse had called the CDC to let them know she was exhibiting signs of ebola and was wondering if she should fly back to Texas from Ohio. The CDC gave her the go-ahead and said that because her fever ( amongst other signs) was only 99.5, instead of the threshold 100.4. Apparently you can't have ebola unless you have a fever of minimum 100.4, even though you exhibit all the other early signs too.like we don't know for certain now?
Does anyone wonder how it is possible to be this incompetent?
I have to think it is somehow being done on purpose so that this newest emergency can provide cover for more warring, more money printing, and more government "necessity".
Call me paranoid, but preparation is key.
Might want to invest in stock of companies that make Lysol and Bio suits. Short any airline that flies international. Puts and calls if you know your business.
If shit gets real? I mean that as in major metropolis mass outbreak. Might want to think about 4 gallons of fresh water per person per day and enough food/vitamins/toilet paper to last 6 months.
