freedom of thought, which amendment protects that?

and now we have libertymeth comparing public education to nazism.

there is no need for perspective, folks. perspective is for assholes.

Here we go again. The Constitution doesn't give us rights, rights certainly cannot from a piece of paper. The constitution isn't a list of our rights, in fact, not one single right is enumerated. The Bill Of rights is not about giving us rights, but about making government powerless to infringe on them.

Too bad so many people think the constitution gives us rights, that we figure if it doesn't say it in there, then we have no right to it, which couldn't be any more wrong. Easily duped.

are you somehow saying that something i wrote would presume otherwise?

It's not a amendment that protects it ,

The enumerated powers are a list of items found in Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution that set forth the authoritative capacity of Congress.[SUP][1][/SUP] In summary, Congress may exercise the powers that the Constitution grants it, subject to explicit restrictions in the Bill of Rights and other protections in the Constitution. The Tenth Amendment states that "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

i am one of the few folks who have ever linked a cause of action to the 9th amen in court chicken so i think i get what its there and how it can be used ;)
apparently folks here dont reed things as well as they should...lol
this is about your freedom to think and how that is 'protected' under the first amen = religion...
in other words as the constitution is organized good luck protecting 'liberty' if you run from the word 'religion' chicken ;)

tried to correct a misplaced word above but the edit feature keeps saying to change at least 10 characters etc and wont allow me to edit no matter what i change...?
thats almost always what happens whenever i try to edit any of my posts...
is that something that happens to others here?

Not at all, just that people reading it may be of the understanding that the Connie does grant rights, or at the very least enumerates the ones you have. I blame the educators for making people understand it that way.

In truth there is no free choice. If you are given a series of options, each of which is essentialy actually an option within a set they you have no choice, not really, all you have is the illusion of choice. "you can get the red car or the blue one or the yellow one". "but I want the one that gets 57 miles per gallon". Well, that isn't - "an option". When asked why, we are told that the public is not interested in that. In reality the public is told what they are interested in, not the other way around. You are given options and rarely anything else but made to think that these options to be able to purchase is your god given right to free choice.

The choice to shrug and accept as "the way it is" or to question and seek and be part of a change is always yours. There are choices, most people won't leave the authoritarian model that is imposed on them, so in that sense the choices or absence of them become a self fulfilling prophecy. Shed your fear and you can move forward.

It just takes work ,conviction and sometimes courage to speak and act and evolve. Political "solutions" feed the present paradigm and dis empower people. So why feed that which dis empowers people?

I'll take the flying car that runs on magnetic power, you can have the yellow Prius and the illusions of choice and the nanny state that tells you when to go to bed and what you can eat or smoke and who can you fuck.

How much do you know about the Prussian origins of the "free education" system in the USA and from whence it came?

I'll bet very little, like your "bulbous erection". Don't get me wrong, you are still my favorite clown.

zeit·geist
ˈtsītˌgīst,ˈzīt-/
noun

  • 1.
the defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time.

The right to ask that our thoughts be left sacred seems fair enough to line up against the real-world. First, we learn our inner world is indeed vulnerable......this should shock us. We must be prepared to first learn what the value of thought control is exactly? There are businesses that need consumers, politics that need mass appeal, art and creativity that has no where to go, and a culture left to it's own devices to evaluate the extent and degree of our participation. We are profiles and have many ways in. I could speculate, but the mind exerts itself to withdraw thoughts. The testing of our receptivity to thought pollution must be made difficult, this is a cat and mouse game and first have to know more about all the players. Consciousness itself is a science that employs the worlds most brilliant in advertising, persuasive speaking, neuroscience, religion, and form the shape they know we will easily swallow. The outliers remain and exist to protect us, people who see this as a violation that is our future if we let it. Ethics, fear, and logic are targets to shifting ones' beliefs from outside. From within, we are medicated, our diets perhaps, our will becomes withered yet we still feel things on our own. There are ways to target and delete thinking that is forced....

Really, the blame is ours. It is not public school, the government, or aggressive capitalism only here. We have made ourselves transparent here.....likes, hobbies, institutions etc. We know there is a choice between having a smartphone and privacy but we really don't care. Let em watch! I want my iphone! The sinister part is that trust we afford these institutions, the thought path that brought us here, and the reality taking shape around our humanity.

the 'cannabis issue' is just one (of many) wildly shining examples that come to 'mind'...
most folks seem to be satisfied with the question 'should weed be legalized or not', yet the question itself is misleading in more ways than i can count (unless i spend the next day or so doing the math lol)...
obviously the first and most relevant question to all 'clear thinking' humans would be 'do i have the natural right to grow a plant' etc and only after that question is asked and reasonably answered would a 'clear thinking' human begin to ask other questions such as commerce related etc...
yet even while every current status quot mechanism, be it claiming 'pro' or 'anti' cannabis, continues to 'force', 'impose', 'finance' etc that the only question is 'should weed be legalized or not' we as individuals choose to accept that framing or not and we as individuals can at any time insist that for us the first question is always 'do i have the natural right to grow a plant'...
if we respect ourselves enough to be asking the question that applies to us all then on that path we will learn to respect all, including plants etc...

Show me the picture of your flying car that runs on magnetic power, until then, yours is just the other side of the same coin "you can be anything you want Johnny, why you could EVEN go to mars or be a president". Even yours is a part of the big sell. you think you can actually be different, and yet here you are posting with the rest of us, repeating the same thing over and over again to people who either don't care, don't want to know or don't understand.

And so am I.

This is like saying that the pretty 19 year old with the short skirt is to blame for her being raped.

I hear you but "natural rights" get me uncomfortable. The term or concept I don't feel I have now or have ever had and so I do not understand its persuasion.

canndo the point is it need only be that way because we let it...
the only reason im here is really to see if anyone wants to help change the scenario i described above in a serious litigious or other effort and as yet there's no one choosing to do so, but the mere fact that i am here shows that i have chosen to pursue that which is not a current choice in the status quot offerings etc...

That is not so. I am seeing blame everywhere for a hypothetical bad scenario. The pretty 19 year old is a smartphone and she is irresistible.

all words make me uncomfortable because they just dont seem to cut the mustard from my view and need to express etc so i hear ya...but words are what they use to hang us with so im just using such words in effort to pull said 'head' out of the noose (if you will)...
the constitution is an effort to protect 'rights' we were born with as humans so for me its just a matter of working the best with what we got...
but i hear ya bro...

You still aren't getting thhe essence of mind control. We believe our choices are our own and that if we REALLY REALLY wanted to we could change the way things are. That is what I see here and people are loath to believe otherwise because that is the way they believe now. The people must forever have hope, should they ever perceive that they are in the situation they are in. Your individual heroics mean nothing in the large picture. Let us look at something that could have been "choice" changing" - silk road. How long did that last?

Look around you, this manipulation is constant and pervasive, much as water to a fish. They cannot even see that water, nor would they particularly care should they get a glimpse, and as you, those glimpses occur. You found a lucky loophole. I have found a few myself, and of course there is the underground where the same influences do not apply, but it is called "underground" for a reason.
