i can't tell you if it will flower or not, i don't know where you live. as for the repercussions, more bugs outside, you can't control the weather, and someone might see it and call the cops or steal it.

I live in a middle eastern country and its winter now, a pleasant 18-25 degrees, we have no extremes of weather here and i moved them to my roof where we are the highest in the neighborhood so no one will see them and the roof is kept spotlessly clean, the plant is 3 weeks old and currently at 4" tall, its short but bushy and healthy, its the plant in my avatar that was when it was 2weeks old

Sounds to me like it will start to flower in a couple of weeks, since I assume you have had it under 16 -18 hrs a day light cycle. If you leave it outside long enough it will try to veg again in a couple of months, your days are getting longer quickly. Can you handle a large plant on the roof?

Good luck

Yeah i`ve had it at 24/7 lighting with 3 100WCFL`s, I think I can handle a 1 m long plant on the roof without getting caught yeah, one thing I dont understand though..If it starts to flower how will it veg again?

On the other hand if it does flower in 2 weeks that`ll make a total of 5 weeks veging which would be perfect..yes?

Im not looking for super yields this is just an experiment, I hope it grows a bit more than 4" before it flower though :s that would yeild next to nothing..or will it grow even more when it flowers?

it should be growing in hight and size the entire time its outside. As soon as you put it outside it will start to flower, but you may not get very good buds before the plant tries to re-vegetate itself automatically because of the photo period.

i had this problem one time, my advice is start to lst the girl now while shes young, and then when she flowers hopefully you can harvest some buds before it re-vegetates. then next season you will have a massive plant.

That sounds like a plan my man! thanx for the advice, I have just one last question by photo period you mean the effect of increasingly longer days?

i thought it was warm year round out there??? and yes by photo period i mean longer days...once nights shorten up to less then 12hrs it should change to re-veg, and evry bud site will start growing branches.

if your days are starting to get longer in your part of the world, then it will likely go into flower due to the light cycle it will now be recieveing but as the days get longer, it will likely try to go back into veg... and if you are worried about your plant getting too tall, you can always try pruning, supercropping, LST, and SGROG.... these will all help with the height in their own ways. look into them all to decide which best suits your needs

...why dont you just run a extention cord up to your roof, put the plant in a plastic container to protect from wind & rain an just use the cfls up there? between the change of light and the change of hours your plants guaranteed to flower
