How would you suggest I vent out/in tha air through tha window without looking so obvious.
I took me 1 second to think it up and another 20 min to do it, and it looked better than black gorrilla tape and open holes sitting out there, It wasne tha most thought out idea.
Anybody got better, less conspicuous ideas on venting out a window??

Regular 4 bedroom. I only have access to 1 of which I sleep in.
Tha room is 8x10 and tha tent is takin up 4x8, so im only left with 6x8 space with my bed and my computer desk in it. Tha window is also on tha opposite side of tha window, so ducting has to go all tha way along under my comuter desk out my window.
Im tryin my DIY AC here again a different way. Ill post back with new pics an updates of my ladies when I get this set-up

they already told you, run cfl's for a while, seedlings don't need that much light. winter is coming open the window and cover up.

Not on a first floor apartment man. You could open up your windows and have the vents pointing towards it but place it so that you can't see from outside.
As for the temps... your seedlings do not need a 600W light.............CFLs are more than sufficient.

Alright, i like that. Open them up half way and have tha vents kinda back away from tha window, but still blowin it all tha way out tha window.
CFLS dont have right fixtures as of right now, so there will be no way to get em hung.
I was thinkin since I payed for a $200 window A/C unit, anybody know how to rig one up inside? I know you would have to have some type of ducting for tha back to pull tha heat out, and set tha unit on top of something to collect all tha condensation water.
Hit me back if you know nothin

i found the cooler online at craigslist.com i dunno if you have that in where u are, but its kind of like a local ebay website where people sell all of their used shit. i believe it retailed for about $150 but the dude just wanted to flip it he wanted 50 gave him 40. everyone told me the same thing about making an ac buying one blah blah. This water cooler is the shit its regulated my temp instantly.
Also many many people have already told you to limit your lights, you are gonna burn the shit out of yo baaaaaabies!
also im srry if im missing this, but how do i sub to a thread i wanna see this!

If you are, then that is definately affordable if it brought my temps down 10 degrees, that would be perfect. It only uses 1 amp so can I just set it my tent and add water ever couple hours and my temps will go down 10 degrees? I hope your not fucking wit me bro
cuz that sounds too good to be true.I cant use CFL's cuz I dont heve tha fixtures, but I will raise tha 600w up to about 20" so not to burn em.

Careful tho have the vent sort of at the sides pointed towards window .. not directly facing the window. And get a duct muffler for like 50 bucks because I'm sure it's loud as fuck in there.
Also why not turn the apartment's AC on to lower the ambient temperature by like 10 degrees which will translate into lower grow tent temps...

Sound is not really an issue since not a lot of people walk around there. And I think I know what your talkin bout as to how to set tha ducts in/out tha window.

And I cant lower tha central AC cuz my roommates are cheap and like to conserve energy

You see tha tiny yellowing of tha SLH leaves? What are those? Are they bad?
Anywayz, heres tha babies. Tha temps got up to 100 today until i realized there was a leak in one of my vents blowin hot air into tha grow room. Sealed it and temp went down to 95. Added my new DIY AC and temps are at 91 now. I figure if i get 1 or 2 more of these with some fans, I should be able to keep tha temps in tha mid 80's running low amounts of CO2.
Heres tha new and improved Light Proof DIY A/C
Its 2 slim rubbermaid Jugs connected together with 6" holes on either side. Theres a 6" fan pulling air from outside of tent through DIY A/C. I just fill them with frozen water bottles and tha air that comes out is pretty cold.
Bet if I added 2 sets of these DIY A/Cs with 2 more 6" inline fans, I might be able to get tha tems down to 85.

Tha new setup. 2 cooltubes in 1 reflector.

That yellowing is nute burn... that damn water, you need RO water, it's to early for that to happen, and yeah it's not good, your ppm is so high without any nutes, that the water alone could be burning them... get the RO water if you want her to make it...

It's veryb early though so dont worry.... but it could get worse if it's the water that's doing it, I hope your not giving any nutes yet...
