These people are nothing but gangsters. They have no real cause. They cannot describe what their agenda is. They even are waving flags that say: "Abolish Money!" I'd like to say to them that money is nothing more than a scoreboard reflection of expended effort and service given. So with that in mind, how would we reward these things without money?

Hey now, many many of those people are protesting for the right reasons. The stupid anarchists always cause unnecessary trouble. They're the reason protests always turn out bad.

There are a lot of angry people in London. If the G20 says something to piss them off more... I wouldn't want to be there.
 
They just show up because the cameras are there. No cameras, no protest. That takes real principle....I'm on board :mrgreen:

After all these years it seems funny to me that people still use protests considering how ineffective they are compared with other know methods such as taking care of yourself & doing what YOU want to do-not what someone tells you to do. Will people ever get it?

That's a great point...there's always hope although even in my opinion that's merely a delusion.
 
Did you catch the caveat that the bad guys with rocks were cops. sounds about right. A peaceful protest and the cops send in some of their own to stir the shit so they can beat the hell out of the protesters. BTW, for all you smug righties, this country was founded by protesters.
 
I can be considered by a righty and am well aware of that;) And those Protesters that founded this country would be considered Righties today.

So why are the righties running the world, and the lefties protesting. Seems like they got used to the good life and now say fuck everyone else. It's time for a revolution, not against either party, a class war. The rich, Mostly righties, have gotten so fucking greedy they no longer have a social conscience. Like the royality of old, they revel in their wealth and piss on everyone beneith their "stature". Just look at the quasi rich on this site, TBT, Cracker, VI, etc. they all piss on the poor and go absolutely bonkers at the suggestion of any social program doing anything but costing them money. It is apparent that change will only come when the poor rise up and take back this country for the common man, the workers, the people that shower after work. Geeze, I'm gettin excited now.

Well its sort of a philisophical issue for me Med. Is it right to steal from someone who has more then you but not one who has less? What is the diffrence between them, besides money?? See I have no problem taxing corperations or from fees or sales taxes. But when I have to report how much I made where I spent it and give a % of it to government I feel enslaved. So why enslave one group over another?? You boil it down to "tax the rich." OK who are the rich? Anyone who makes over $3000 dollars a year, that was how income tax started. Only for the rich is what they said. Makes it easyer for the people back then to take. Its only for the rich. No there is no class of people there are only people. And if you make something for one person you open it up to others.

Now believe me I feel your pain I see the greed but what would we replace that greed with?? Violence?? A police state?? No I don't except that. How much sucsess is to much, Med?? At what point do we enslave the sucsessful?? This to me is really the philosophic debate. I say remove the reins from mankind and allow the human mind freedom. And the rewards will be beyond imagining. Enslave man and you doom us to mediocraty. It is easy to blame the greedy none of us are greedy only "them."
 
You folks should watch Ronald Reagans Convention speech for Goldwater in 1964. It's 28 minutes long but well worth it. It is SCARY accurate to what is happening today.
