I have bought two led grow light. One have 300W(3w each bulb) and other have 600W(10w each bulb). I am planning to grow a small garden. I think it will work great actually it is working great and not find any problem yet.Wow, you must be a super yielder with DE to even think about 60oz. Even if you pull 3oz per plant, that is pretty incredible and pretty much unbelievable (literally). You are talking about 1260g @ 3oz per plant. Regardless, even if you yielded 50g per plant @ that veg time, that would be a pretty good successful grow IMO and very respectable. Either way, 4oz from a DE is a waste IMO. I believe the smallest DE led bulb you can get is 400w correct?
But as long as he is happy with his product it does not matter. I guess my point was in reference to his statement of SE vs DE. I could yield more than 4oz from a SE 250w HPS even with a short veg time......
Any reason you are not considering vertical with best LED grow light? There are a few guys with documented grows around here who are doing successful grows with LED bulb. Have not kept up with all of them but maybe you should check them out. LED is far better than SE HPS. If you are looking for 3lbs, you can do that with 1000w of COBS (super easy with higher yielding strains, well over 3lbs with strains).
Those advertised wattages are completely inaccurate and the companies that do that are not under and advertising restrictions. So don't expect to grow anything that is advertised or read in the "reviews". Expect ok yeilds running those lights at 50 actual watts per SQFT. So maybe 4-5sqft of coverage for what you haveI have bought two led grow light. One have 300W(3w each bulb) and other have 600W(10w each bulb). I am planning to grow a small garden.
