Yep, spoke too soon. Need more cal-mag or what? This starts with new growth at the top and is working its way down. As it moves down its affecting older leaves too. I have been using the cal-mag since I use ro/distilled. I feed every water, about 5-7 day intervals.
It's happening on all three. Using the heavy sched. Last feed I added a bit of growth too, since they seemed to be lacking N.

Overall, the plants look healthy except for this. I suspect bud growth has stopped at this point.

Is this what you guys were seeing? I did better last time with MG.

i am on my 3rd grow with the gobox nutes. my plants seem happy. i feed according to the schedule and the only time i had a problem with lock out was when i started trying to adjust the ph. when i just used the nutes with my tap water(that sits out for a few days to let the chlorine dissipate) things went fine. i used molasses too on both my grows and after reading this post, maybe that is why i have not been impressed with the flavor. all 5 strains i have grown all taste the same and are all just ok. the potentcy is really good(too powerful for me but my kids love it). the smell when smoked is different than most too so much so that my son at college can smoke in his room and people aren't sure what he is burning. i think i will go without molasses this time out. i also am adding in open sesame, beastie blooms and cha ching this time to see if i can get my yield and flavor better. i used the diamond black a all through vegging my first 2 grows. this time out i followed the schedule and have not noticed a difference. the plants still are happy. i think i am going to use up what i have left after this grow on my house plants and try sumpin' else next time out if the flavor does not improve. ^^^janejane - i don't check ec. i was checking the ph. the nutes will lower it a good few tenths but i grow in soil and as long as it isn't below 6, it seems to work fine. i think during flower the ph is supposed to be higher but that has not been a problem that i know of for me. i just use ph paper(hydrion 5-8 i think bought from amazon) because i can't be bothered with the electronic calibration and crap...
Thankyou for the info! The smell and taste could be from the molasses. Did you use the molasses up until harvest or did you stop using it before? Also the final flush could have to do with it, maybe the flush didn't get rid of all the molasses(and/or nutrients).
I think some people could benefit from slightly raising their PH during flowering. Phosphorus, Calcium and Magnesium some what require a higher PH to be absorbed. Look at the chart I attached. View attachment 3014267I hope you figure out what's up with the smell!

Hey Lo Budget! To me it looks like it could be a light nutrient burn or a CalMag deficiency. Sometimes too much potassium can look like a calcium deficiency. If you're feeding them heavy doses of the Biothrive Bloom that bit of Biothrive grow you added could of made it too strong and caused it to burn the edges of the leaves.
If it starts to look like rust spots it's probably a Calmag deficiency. I looked at the pictures you posted on page 2 and your ladies are looking good!

Chicken manure pellets, look them up and you will find they are not as 'hot' as people say if used correctly.

It's not nute burn. The bit of grow I added last time cleared up the N def. for now. The Critical Jack needed water today so I doubled the cal-mag along with heavy feed. Also added a tsp of diamond black, have not used it since beginning of veg. The other two can wait a couple of days before they need water so I'll see how the jack responds. I'm determined to figure this out, although I probably won't be using the go box next time around.

Lo Budget: Can you get another shot or two of the group of leaves at the top of the plant on the attached picture?
I hope the double dose of cal-mag works out. If you figure it out be sure to post back here
:joint: How's the Critical Jack as a strain?

I have never heard of the pellets. How do you apply them?

I've never grown or smoked it before. I got a couple from Herbie's as freebies. It's definitely sativa dom, growth-wise. It's more than twice as tall as the Hawaiian.

Ha! They were nice looking in veg. Now they're dying a rapid death. My houseplants LOVE the runoff, too bad my cannabis plants don't like it as much.

Have you found another site like seedfinder? Seriously everybody needs to use it so there's more info on it.
Keep us posted!

Flush
Is this what you guys were seeing? I did better last time with MG.
Looks like toxicity due to over feeding and/ or nutrient build up.... Flush with ph adjusted water so you get about 20% run off.. depending on your system, Take a sample of the nutrient run off, check it for ph and TDS. The results will show if there are excess nutrients. you may want to cut back on the amount of food by 10-15% as well depending on findings.

I know this is a super old thread but curious what the results were on your issues.
