Unknown hybrid strain.

The second picture is at the third internode from the cola. Every bud site displays a Fox Tail. Average temperature around the main cola is 75°, 55% humidity. The lower buds have run an average 72°f/60%.

4- Clu48 90cri COBs. Mix of 3000k and 3500k. About 200 watts total.

Check her out.

Nothing wrong with it. Just gotta be more careful when trimming. Some strains just want to keep growing. More bud is the end result.

I saw this the first time when I put a 315 cmh in my room. Never saw it with hps alone.

It was a very haze leaning hybrid and after the single spires grew out like you show more all over the buds did until it all filled in.

I contacted the breeder. He said it's just a pheno.

Pics.

I'd think it was a pheno type also. I planted 6 seeds, two females. A private guy gave me the seeds and told me it was Girl Scout.(yeah, whatever)

Both random females produce Fox Tails on every bud site. What's the odds of getting two identical phenotypes? I can't say it's a mutation. It's definitely not from being hot or too much light.

It's these plants. Grown in a damn near perfect environment. Chemical salt fertilizer, promix and 3000k/3500k COBs. The plant pictured is 45.5" tall. Growing in a 2 gallon fabric pot. Hardy plants with bugs leaving it alone. The guy was growing it outside. No idea how many generations. Small pots didn't slow it down one bit either.

I have about 15 seeds left. Ill breed it for more after the next grow.

Love fox tail buds, those are looking nice bro. What's it smell like?

If you mean mine. They were harvested a few months ago. They are a CH9 Blue Lemon Thai plant from an s-1 seed I found in a bud later.

It is a very much sour diesel/ Skunk leaning pheno and smelled of chemicals and rotten fruit while growing and later curing went from a chem/ shit smell to a more familiar heavy Skunk.

Very potent with thick cough your head off expansive smoke.

that trait is all over chem stuff, i even found an extreme expression of it from a Mexican Reggie bagseed plant years ago, the foxtail structure was four calyx instead of two, alternating and nesting as they went up, the calyxes weren't in the usual bud arrangements they were like cattails on a leaf stem, about seven inches long with the first four inches bare stem and the last three were wrapped in those calyxes, the whole thing turned violent purple on the side the kessil was on, the other half was mostly green with tinges of purp, but every surface the led hit turned almost black purple. I kick myself all the time for losing that one, i was still new, terrified of hermies and seeds like i see guys on here now lol, if i hadn't listened to all that nonsense hysteria i might still have it. To me looks like you got a decent result comin if nothing else

You are right about the chem. The plant I showed is full of diesel. And if I was afraid of a few nanners I wouldn't be able to finish some of the best ones.

And I almost never find a seed anyway.

Was wondering about SouthCross's plant it looks like a sativa I had. Smelled like Vic's vapper rub. But I like your babies too man And I love a strong chem shit diesel smell for sure.

I've caught really strong whiffs that reek of diesel. Like standing next to a gas pump. Trippy as hell too. Otherwise it's a greenish pungent oily smell.
Fucken love trippy sativa smoke, most growers stay away from sativas cause their so sensitive and take long to flower. That's all I'll grow really, sat doms or full sativas. I'll see if I have some pics to add.

I broke a lower limb messing around. It's been drying for about five days. Plucked the smaller fluff bud off.

It smells likes.......Had to make sure. I sniffed some coffee grounds to clear the palate. Smelled again.

The aroma is burning car tire.

I wouldn't be giving this thing that much attention if it wasn't for the smell. Never had a plant smell like burning rubber. Intriguing.

Since females are biologically proven to have a keener sense of smell. (I know.. but no worries. I'm suing mother nature as I type)

Anyway. Handed a bigger bud to the girlfriend to describe the aroma. Pinched it a bit to really get it going. Where I smelled a burning Michelin tire. She described it as strong lemon followed by hints of fruity.

It's day 74 of flower. Amber is about 10%. Looking forward to the cured taste and aroma. Cause this thing is stanky stinky.
