Getting Ready To Start 2nd Grow - Tangerine Dream

Don't confuse Neville's Haze with Neville's A5 haze male. The haze A and HAze C males were the only plants Neville got out a bunch of old Haze brother's seeds stock. He got some females to but said they were nothing special. Haze A and Haze C were used to create Neville's Haze, but only the Haze A male was used in Tangerine Dream.
Let's not hijack this thread; My knowledge was that TG was G13 crossed with Nevilles A5 Haze(NA5H) with the resulting plant again crossed with G13.

Out of respect for the OP, I will not reply further on this subject. My post was simply meant to establish a point concerning the choosiness of this particular strain in regards to its environment and care.

Cheers, and happy growing :)

Okay, first I want to apologize ahead of time, because I am going to be very blunt with you.

Tangerine Dream is up there with the legends as far as bud is concerned. The soil you have those plants in is a problem to me for two reasons:
-it looks very wet. TOO wet.
-it looks to be of poor quality.
ALSO, the fact that you have them both in the same pot is a bad idea. Here's why:
-Tangerine dream is a G13xNA5H recrossed with G13. In Layman's terms, the root systems of these plants are going to proliferate like crazy. They are going to take over each other if left unchecked.

What to do:
Get them in separate pots and buy better soil. Fox Farm makes my personal favorite; it makes my girls very, VERY happy.

Make sure you are not over-watering them. This can result in drowning their still-developing root systems.

In conclusion: Tangerine dream comes from two very needy parent strains. As of the last Cannabis Cup, it is the best, and therefor it demands the best. Cater to your TG's needs and you will have the best stash in town. Treat it as anything other, and, well I think you get the picture.
ok so il start with the soil. Although it appears shit its suposed to be okay, my cuz grew with this same soil and came out fine. It has wood chip, egg shell, and potato peel (looks like it). My Problem may be over watering her but when checked with the moisture meter it says 4-5, bang in the middle. and thats when it looks wet. The top say 1-2 inches are drying out within a couple of hours although as more days pass i think the soil has sort of got use to the water and absorb as much as it needs. When i put the moisture meter half way down its stays around 6-7 where as 2 days ago it wouldn't.

I transplanted them into seperate pots and they look very well.

please keep with this thread as i can use as much advice as possible thanks.

i use the boost accelerator as well as the pk 13/14 plus the terra flores as well i try to give my ladies as much as possible to maximize my yeild just be aware that the boost is about 70 quid a litre but good stuff
also looking at your pics you wanna get some perlite mixed in with your soil about 20% ratio to the soil that will help with the root development

I will most defo get some perlite and also see what else helps.
70quid ltr, iv seen it between £19.00-40.00. Where did u get urs ??

no you start off mixing 20ml per 10 litres of water then you mix 40ml per 10 litres of water so as you can imagine you will go through at least 1 litre per grow depending on how many your growing i went through 1 litre growing 4 white rhino on my last grow but it is awesome stuff

i mix it all together in the same water container so for example if i fill my container with 50 litres of water i add 100ml of boost and 250ml of the terra flores with regards to your new soil it looks good enough to me its got perlite mixed in so it should do the job

I put some perlite at the bottom of my pots but to be Honest as long as you have the perlite mixed in with the soil you should be ok with the drainage

looking at your pics there aint a lot of perlite in there so what you can do is pop to your local wilkos and pick up a bag of perlite from there its only a fiver mix a bit more in with the soil and put maybe an inch on the bottom of your pots that should help

ok Here's the thing i have probably messed around with them abit much over the past couple of days, and starting to think the 1 on the left has stopped growing, mabey for good. i have my canna nutes, more pots, n a MH 250w but its round a pal of mine and unfortunately he's away in spain. i expect to get it all by the weekend. At the moment im using 1 of those double lights where its combined into 1. also i have a proper tool for transplanting small plants, got it from B&Q again tho its not available until the weekend. Il wait and once have the stuff il get the perlite and do it properly.

Until then keep advising me on what to do for the best. Will post more pics tonight.

cheers mike
