BCBD such an awful company. Ok, yes, Cali has had genetics from CO or BC and changed names, but usually re-worked and better. The crap available to people outside CA is a whole bit different, esp. name strains like OG Kush or Trainwreck or Mendo Purps. All have a bad name elsewhere because of bad companies like BCBD Mendo craps, awful non purpling crap strain. Wrong info on genetics on GSC based upon re-worked cookies. charging $150+ a pack. Guess u deserve to be had if you think british columbia gonna have the best cali weed available. if you know anything about genetics you would know something that limiting the pheno spread on seeds from a select clone is not possible so fast, and no one has the original parents except. Most are S1 non-select cookie cousins, and others are cherry pie og kush 'guess cookies' strains, some good some bad. The real deal is minty small, connosieur, very potent, very frosty, herm issues, so how were these worked out in seed without crossing to something else? But go ahead donate money to canada, or stop by GD to get the real deal.
 
OG Kush x Durban Poison x Cherry Kush, lol. bs. no one but the breeder knows if it is pure durban poison or a dp cross, I think a sativa cross that allows faster flower for comm purposes. and there is no 'cherry pie' in GSC, and no one in the area calls cherry pie cherry kush because there is a cherry pheno kush that it would get confused with. No one calls it cherry kush og or cherry pie og or any such nonsense. And it's not larry's or the sfv ogkut or the raskal or tahoe/mthai cut, but a florida cut.

DP x Cpie BX again with OG Kush (since Cpie is GDP x OGK) is called 'fake cookies' or if a good baked cpie dom pheno then called platinum cookies around here in ncal. all the people outside CA much less SF saying they have a cut have a cut of platinim cookies or bagseed unselected s1 wide pheno spread cookies with less vigor. original thin mint cookies is F1 and still low yielding even with the hybrid vigor so the S1 an S2 bagseed cousin craps unselected are usually mediocre and poorly resemble the original. personally i think plat. cookies pretty decent when done right. gdp grapeyness with some spice.

if your outside sf, forget about it.. don't blow your money on cc or bcbd cookie hype. real deal is not hype but name chasing is hopeless and different places have different good strains, like seattle good nl, good uk cheese, good spanish c mass x's and interesting hybrids, and best og's in so cal. gsc thin mint is a naughty plant that won't grow right for 99% anyhow.
 
(dp x cherry pie) x ogk sometimes misnamed platinum cookies, sometimes monster cookies. lucky if thats what you get from bcbd, but given they call it cherry kush they prolly made their own or had an unverified cut just like their mendo poops was either a bad cut from mendocino or was made up by them or otherwise they were scammed. real urkle makes you walk crooked it's so powerful, and it's like grape essence and dripping in resin when grown right. bcbd mendo poops makes tiny popcorn nugs and doesn't turn purp unless you deplete its nutes or cool its roots. low yield, low aroma, with some vague semblence of the real deal. awful because the fakes infiltrated to the markets making getting the real deal harder to get and the original peoepls waste money having to test out fakes to see if it is theirs. like how some amsterdam idiots crossed skywalker indica to sfv ogk or some other kush to make it impossible to find real skywalker og kush from la unless you maintained a line or have deep connections. no point for a nor cal cat like me to go looking for these because of all the fakes around. just like all but one sources' thunderfuck has been fake here in cali. all but one biker gang dude who had the real deal because it wasnt sagaramatha, had no skunk, and had specific narrow indica traits about it that i recognize before all the fakes strated flying about. not a hybrid but some genetics in there that seem to be central asian, non-sat non-ind per se. different and noticable if you kno your herb.
 
inner circle personal stash, or your grower's favorite grower is where stuff just as good as real gsc is at. unkown unhyped tasty shit stop chasing cookie dik is my advice but if you still want it that bad visit the clubs be4 the crackdown makes the gnetics go undergr whereby only a few will hav it and keep it going

Not a cross was GSC bagseed that I got from Frisco. Everyone was giving me crap about saying its GSC. So to eliminate that I named it. So a few of my close friends now have cuts.

gsc = (f1 x durban poison) x floridah og
pie = (f1 x durban poison)x gdp x og kush

forum cut, ogkb cut, platinum cut, scm cut, mo's cut, are all bagseed or crosses. or are thin mint and the breeders discredit it.

cherry kush is an OLD strain from the same circle who made cherry pie. much different and niether are in gsc but are sister strains.
gsc = the genotype

all the diff cuts = diff phenotypes of gsc genotype

the vigor of gsc has nothing to do with what generation seed it is... because nobody knows for sure what generation or if any of the phenotypes are actualy s2 or s3's.... u dont lose genetics when you self strains!!!! the vigor remains the same

Seems like a lot of people don't understand what vigor is. People seem to think losing vigor = losing potency. That's not true at all. Vigor has nothing to do with that, and as you say, has nothing to do with what generation seed it is.

Vigor is reduced through cloning. Lower vigor is often a desirable characteristic with some strains. Vigor applies to plant growth. If a plant stretches too much, reduced vigor can be a good thing. Lower vigor does nothing to harm potency or terpenes.
 
If you want to sample the real cookies go to the hemp center or ocean collective but it time to step your game up the same crew that made thin mints made new strains like the Y it is gscxcherry pie and sherbert people get with the the city shit

Whats up Dan? One of my buddies Angryblackman told me to ask you a question. These 2 pics are suppose to be the Thin Mints pheno from what I was told. Does the structure look right. These look to be turning into some rods. Also the smells more fruity then other GSC I have had. Going to be some dank no matter what. But I am hoping its the Thin Mints. The thin mint pheno doesn't develop it's full terpene profile until right before you harvest it. It should change flavors a few more times before it's finished. I'm not sure if that's thin mints or not, but it definitely could be. Looks about right.

Also what is or isn't "thin mints" is pretty subjective. I've probably seen over 100 different "thin mints", no two the same. If it has a slight hint of mint chocolate when it's done, it's thin mints. The fruity flavor in the beginning is normal. In a week or two it will start to be masked by an OG flavor, then finally it'll get it's cookies flavor right at the end. Only developing a thin mints aroma after curing.
