heat stress on them has been brutal, its been hot here so they went taco on me lol luckily its late enough i don't think it will make much of a diference

Cheese was pheno that came from a pack of skunk #1 which made it a clone only strain...the guys from bc bud depot took a cutting of it..out-crossed it to some other strain then back-crossed it till they locked down the cheese pheno where as you can,now get "cheese" in regular seed form...I think it's now called "budda cheese" (sp) now I'm reciting this from memory and well I do smoke so some verification may be needed .

I just looked or up and found like 3 names for or ie: exodus cheese..UK cheese etc. but they all claim basically the same thing or came from skunk #1 that was bred by some dude called Sam Skunkman...who really knows...a lotta pot loreGotcha!! Yeah...but the real deal was a clone only strain...
So all the back crossed strains are mostly hype...from what I gather anyway...

yum now im hungry for some good old school Skunk #1 my dad grew it for years back in the 90's always a great choice and a distinct smell. everyone knows there's skunk in the midst as soon as u open the bag

hell yeah who doesn't! thats why i spent a year or so growing and trying out different Bubblegum phenos, it has always been my favorite because of the taste and smell. i love that creamy taste it has along with the fruity aroma its A+ in my book. also has a good ratio of sativa-indica, wont knock you out but gets you plenty stoned. it seems like most of the "old school" strains are like that. too many breeders are focused on THC content and resin production, not enough thought to taste. seems flavor has taken a back seat to all else. IMHO THC content is pretty much at the bottom of my list. i much rather have something i truly enjoy smoking a lot than something that has 30% THC and harsh. anything over 20% gets you silly no matter what. 21% THC, great flavor and smell vs. 32% crazy indica shit that burns your throat and glues you to the couch like a potato, yea give me the 21% any day of the week!
