The gcc had as much funding as it needed at the time in order to introduce doubt in the public which was, before hand, a purely scientific discussion. Again, exactly the same as the tobacco industry's misdirection when the health and safety of tobacco consumption became an issue. These are the same tactics that are used over and over as the tobacco model was adopted. The frustrating thing to me is that those who spout what they do about scientific fact, findings, evidence and models are ignored in favor of what is essentialy a lay understanding of global climate change. None of the objections the antis state show any difference between what the GCC first poisoned the debate with, and this current conversaton.

You and your arguments are perfect examples of PR perfection. Interestingly, the Health insurance companies took up the exact same formula to great effect. It seems that some are so enmeshed in what they are lead to believe that they fail to examine the source of those very same beliefs.

I seriously doubt that you will go to the trouble to discover the source of your own belief system - but I can show you that it is indeed a fact that you are owned by the PR.

Most conservatives fall victim to this sort of big money influence.
