about that drenching, dude, just remember one cardinal rule about growing marijuana, NO PUDDLES.
But dude definately has the right idea. Let your soil dry and the minute you leave, give your plants a good watering and then they should be JUST FINE when you get back, if not wilting just a bit but it wont be anything you wont be able to fix.
Another bit of advice, I'm not sure what your system is and all that so I'm not sure if this is GOOD advice or not but it would definately work for some people in your situation so I'll go ahead and share it.
Use the great outdoors to your advantage in this situation. Take your plants outside and leave them where they can get rain (but of course in a place that can't be easily found). A good trick is to take bundles of sticker bush and briers and sticks, and set them up around your grow area to protect it and make it extremely difficult to get into. Maybe have some sort of hidden rope tied to a tree on the inside that you can pull on to clear you a quick path when its just you. Good luck with that man, I hope there's some free green in your future as well as mine
1. You need a timer. - you can get it at a hardware store or walmart.
2. Try to make a drip system or you can do what im going to try
and do is let them dry out till the day you leave, then drench them. im tring this before i leave, and so far i havent had to water for 3 days, hopfully they will last for 7
