That doesn't surprise me. I think the TW would turn into a huge tree outside. I'd expect at least 10', if not more.

Week 7 starts today. The TW is finally starting to smell and crystal up really nice. Not sure how much time is left but I'm being patient. Too many people on this site chop way too early and I can't stand unripe buds.
I'll get pics up today.

OK, just finished up in my garden this morning. Changed the reservoir for the trainwreck and kings kush and topped the water levels off on the others. The TW also seems to have trouble staying up with the weight of the buds, so I had to tie some branches to itself. lol, this is a horrible strain to grow when you don't have anywhere to stake them to.
I'd estimate 3 more weeks on the TW before thinking about chopping and a little shorter on the LA woman. Her hairs are turning color and her smell is getting really intense. I just hope my noob mistakes aren't going to fuck up the end product because she's been through a lot and looks great, considering. The kings kush is looking really nice and the buds smell like grape skittles. Should be a nice smoke. Enough rambling, onto the pictures...

Here's an example of stretch into 12/12. These ladies were 6-8" when put into flower, now the bigger one is 28" 3 weeks in.

I have 8 plants in my flower room with 5 varieties ( ice,thumper,mt everest skunk,shiskaberry,and white widow) in closet with 400w hps. I just ordered 4x4x6'7" dr120 grow tent and lumitek 600w with sun system 2 hood and hortilux bulb! Can't wait til next grow. Got some elephant bud seeds bcseed for next round!

Thanks! I'm hoping the TW is the star of the show. So far its been pretty easy to grow and resistant to my mistakes. It should smoke like a dream.
I have a pocket microscope but I don't like to use it to determine the ripeness of the buds. It is a tool that helps make my decision but to base it completely on the microscope is foolish, IMO. Too many people rely on the microscope and end up picking way too early. I see it happen at least 9 out of 10 times on this site. I prefer to harvest when the plant tells me its done: https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/210501-zeuss-take-harvesting.html. I am more than willing to wait for optimal buds, otherwise harvesting early is just a waste of the last three months.
Your setup and the strains you've got going sounds sweet. Do you have a journal or pics? The new setup should be pretty awesome.
Just picked up an eighth of NYCD and LA confidential at the dispensary. The vape is warmed up and ready to go. Peace.

I wish I knew how long people typically flower their GHS TW. They don't have any info on attitude's site about how long to expect, so I'm just going to hang in there and be patient. At this rate, she could easily go 10-11 weeks. And I hate prematurely pulled buds, so she is going to be super ripe when I chop her.

I've never smoked TW either. I've seen it a bunch at the dispensaries but the buds look poorly grown and don't smell so good compared to the dank I usually buy. Hopefully I can do it better than all of them.
The strain is from Greenhouse Seeds. I vegged for 5 weeks and let them grow all natural. Next time, I'm definitely training and vegging for half the time because they obviously got away from me. I wasn't intending on 4' trees...

Is there something you'd like some advice on specifically? If you want to pick my brain about my setup, go ahead and start asking away. It is my first hydro setup after all, so we can learn together.

Gave the LA woman a little haircut today to clean up her haggard leaves. Decided to take pics since its been a while and the ladies look lovely. A few more weeks and I'll have massive amounts of killer bud.
