Another fellow Colorado medicinal user here. I live up in Summit. Also recently graduated from college with no real job (unless you count working in a ski shop!)
Your grow looks solid so far, just subscribed. I'm waiting on my light to get here to start my first grow. I'd planned to grow in soil due to how simple it is but your DIY DWC is sparking my curiosity. Seems simple and cheap to setup and the results are obviously amazing! Keep up the good work dude
Thanks for stopping by fellow CO medical user. Good to have you drop in.
I would definitely look into hydro but a soil grow is always a good idea to get the feel of it the first time. Hydro is a whole 'nother beast but once you get it down, the results are far superior and it doesn't require much more work or expense. If you have any questions during your research, drop me a line.
i step out for a min a look what happens lol
Seriously. My plants seem to have reacted negatively to all that nasty muff. Shit has gone downhill since that was posted.
I took pictures of them just now but decided not to post them because my babies look like shit, honestly. The one is still having major pH problems. I checked the res again today and the pH dropped a whole fucking point in both buckets down into the 4 range, so I decided to refresh the water and nutes. pH was 6.3 in both buckets when I finished with everything. I can't explain why it drops like it was but the plants don't fucking like it at all. At least the LA woman is a little more resiliant and is only showing some chlorosis on new growth but the bagseed looks horrible. If she doesn't turn around and soon, I'm going to choke the bitch. She was always freaky stretchy, so it won't be a huge loss. The two in the 150w cab are taking their sweet time showing sex but they look just fine. I'm really crossing my fingers on these ones since they are the healthiest and bushiest.
The sprouts are all doing well for being less than 3 weeks old. Should be ready to throw into flower by the beginning of next week, I reckon.
