Heavenly days. Sunshine, a few cumulus clouds for scenery and a slight breeze with 73 degrees. I know what's ahead so I'm enjoying every day of it.

Another warm one. At 1830 it's sunny, 94F with 34% humidity. Forecast high low of 93/67F with 10% chance of rain tonight. 10 day high low of 97/64F with one day of possible rain. The TV stations in Panama City have a generic "inland" forecast with 5 days at 100 or 101. Weatherunderground has us about 4 degrees cooler each day. But they always have the forecast high wrong. It gets hotter than their forecast almost every day.

It is hot for May. We do see 100's every couple three years, but in July and August.

More hot and dry. I ran sprinklers again this morning. It's going to be rough the next 5-6 days. Lower leaves on the greenbeans are turning yellow. And they just started blooming.

it's been steadily changing. our growing season is being bumped ahead. last year we had a killing frost on June 5-- lost all my stribg beans

Damn, that's pretty late. You would need a geothermal greenhouse to have near a normal season.

An inch of rain last night. That is a huge help in delaying the fire season and not bad for the garden. Snow can be seen on the higher hills around 5000'.

Fresno flooding on Memorial Day weekend, what are the odds? Every time I've driven through the valley it seems that there hasn't been rain for months.
