Yummy. You really do this often? Pissing in buckets that is?
no, but I have probably over a hundred times.
I know of two old school growers that use it as their primary nitrogen input.
You'd be surprised...
Important to note that any and all guanos are getting their higher amount of nitrogen from urine as well (the birds digestive track does both), and I know what I've been eating... but yea, those two growers are just the ones I know of, the homesteading people have been doing it for decades if not centuries, perhaps even millennia...
Rabbit manure and urine for one grower.
alpaca manure, kelp meal, and urine for the other.
I have smoked and thoroughly enjoyed BOTH their herb..
if you are curious, get any plant that needs nitrogen and try it, it's the fastest way to get the color back, and to restore the slowed growth. typically seeing improvements within 3-5 days.
Many organic growers frown on it (not totally sure why, to be honest...)
I'd use it 6 days a week and twice on sundays over blood meal...
BUT that being said, I don't use it for my cannabis plants, but only cuz I don't ever need extra nitrogen, for my compost pile, I use fish meal, doghair, beard clippings, neem meal, alfalfa, grass clippings, and shrimp/crab meals for my nitrogen.
Compost those all up for like 3-6 months or so, and it's the easiest thing to grow with, water only, and you could teach a blind monkey with a learning disability how to grow with it.
I have a jasmine, French lavender, four different types of hybrid tea roses, and my crook-neck bamboo, that I frequently use urine for.
Green as hell gentlemen.
I wouldn't hesitate to use it on anything though. Indoor or outdoor.
and NO it doesn't smell at all, as long as you use it within the first day of mixing it, and as long as you dilute it right.
I know it sounds funky, but if you truly look at the science of it, it's easy to understand why it works so well.
