all in all, thats a beautiful cola.. indeed, we growers have to roll with the punches.. hopefully u can get most of ur weight out of it, minus the damage. great job either way!!
 
Hey guys. I have an update ..

I chopped down the bad pheno of the gg4. Why? SEVERAL reasons actually, nothing necessarily bad tho

#1. I'D LIKE VARIETY. A few ambers and no clear . Mostly milky giving a more heady/uplifting feeling, while the others provide more of a body/stoney/couch lock effect . Options

2. HUMIDITY . Im having issues. Took the runt out and less leaves, leas flower, less moisture in my tent. I have no PM and its important i control humidity because of the bud density. Its just a thing that could be done to solve a potentially catastrophic, crop killing mildew.

3. UNIMPRESSED. overall she might have got a tiny bit denser but in terms of bud size ,she wasn't getting any bigger. Overall , just unimpressed with this 1 pheno and to make it easier on the prize plants, i cut her down

Trichome production is nice but she lacks in the terp department. The other gg4 smells just like this one, just 100 Xs louder. So she just isnt what she could've been.. nonetheless, i do believe she will smoke well.

I grew cash crop almost 3 years ago you're going to love the smoke!
 
Its day 58. Im getting a little impatient now. But ive taken them all the way through the recommended 8 weeks. Were 9 weeks amd a few days from 12/12.. i didnt count the week and few days of TRANSITIONING INTO flower ( very common grower mistake) . I don't NEED this extra week of flowering but id just really like to get a little more water into the medium and then let them drink most of that water over the last couple days and they'll sit in the dark over Friday night and Saturday for a sunday chop!!

This stuff snaps apart like a cracker lol i don't even meed a dab tool. I can just break a peice off and drop it on the rig!
 
Dau 59 and i see signs of fading. Still got a good amount of milky trichs on 2 of tge 3 remaining plants. The purple gsc can come down anytime but since she just got watered ill wait till the coco isnt so wet.. ill let her drink whats left and cut her down.. shes alsi tge biggest plant so i was able to water more. shes all purple and bottom leaves are yellowing out and the top buds are probably close or a lil over 50% amber. Still waitimg for the last 2 to fade and get more amber trichs. Stll, anyday now. The trichs should be changing rapidly now sincw we're so close to the end. Humidity and temps are optimal right now and its still going well
Smoking the aurora now, curing the "bad" gg4 pheno .. ill have a final weight in a few weeks, minus tge aurora which was 2 oz or less .. so ill just add an oz to tge final weight sinceshe was still a part of this grow

I cant get enough of the purple. Tje temps are so low even gg4 buds arw purpling as u can see in pic #2 above.. pic 2 is also the same gg4 bud, juat the lower part of the cola so really its a very small amount but ive never swwn gg4 purple so its still cool to me.. anyway heres the jarred gg4 runt. The other plants easily triple or quadruple this 1 so, no worries . This will hold me over so i can give the 2 golden girs the attention and dry/cure time they need.. i dont qant to sell myself short now after having come so far

So i open the gg4 jar and i thoughy it had no real smell but i smell bananas. Wtf? Its not bad lol im just kinda mind blown. Bananas? Gg4? WHAT!? I don't get it but its cool. The other one has a very strong zesty, lemon,deisel smell . Very pungent .
