Every year on my sisters birthday something strange will happen to me. My sister died at the age of 26 and she is my bestfriend. Since she has died a few strange things have happened that I cannot explain. One of the most memorable is one day driving in the car with my husband I felt especially down...and out of the blue I could smell her. I knew she was with me. I looked over to my husband and he knew, without saying a word, he knew. Later that night I asked him if he felt she was in the car with us. He said 'yes, I could smell her' I then asked what do you mean you could smell her? He looked at me and said 'I don't know, but it was her.' I thought that was weird because I felt the same way and I never told him...
Every year on her bday something will happen. It is usually a long the line of lights going on and off or things being moved, but, every year I know when May 26 rolls around I will in some way feel her presence.

My boyfriend and his family think their house is haunted. It's really old...built in the mid 1800s. Both him and his brother have told me about things that they've seen. They've both seen a person standing near the same doorway, but they said they didn't feel threatened. My boyfriend also said he saw some things moving in his basement.
The funny thing is, he doesn't believe in paranormal stuff, he just says "that's what our brains do when we're alone".

Also I'm pretty sure pictures of 'orbs' just come from dust on the camera lens.

I'm sorry you lost your sister/best friend. Thanks for sharing this story with all of us. Those pictures you left here are nuts. I' rarely get orbs during the day time..those orbs are shooting straight up. I can see the trails behind them. Do you have anymore? Do you ever take pictures on your sis's birthday?
OH before i forget... i wanted to tell you when my great-grandma died i was so upset. she and i were very close. After her funeral everyone came back to our house (i was 10 at the time). we were all in the living room talking about her and then all of a sudden we SMELLED her. the woman wore VICKS everyday like it was perfume. Noone in the house was wearing it and we all knew it was her. The smell just left as fast as it came through. Everyone just stopped talking and looked at each other. I never heard/smelled/seen of her again but i knew right then she was in a better place.

No, not ALL orbs pictures are dust. My camera's lens is never dusty..i'm constantly wiping that bitch (my lens).
Do me a favor you or your bf or even his brother take some pictures in their house and show us the results. That would be super cool of you!

The orbs are crazy. My lens wasn't dusty, at least the other pics taken that very day didn't have any orbs in them, just those 2.I'm sorry you lost your sister/best friend. No, I don't have anymore pics. To be honest, I never really thought of capturing these things on film. I know they exist and I am fine with them being around me. I think I am sensitive to the paranormal...
That is wild about your great grandmom! It is amazing how they can tell us they are okay, in their own way.
I will check back to this thread often to see if anyone else has the same experiences. Its a great thread.
