Got guns?

a very close friend recently got one of these puppies, I must say, in comparison to the American AK's ive handled(Riley Defense), this is Serbian crap. They are shipped in a literal bag of oil. The muzzle cap was welded on, the handguard was a wobbly mess and the grip and trigger are garbage.

After installing a Manticore Arms muzzle device, Midwest Industries railed handguard, SB tactical brace, Magpul vertical foregrip, Hogue pistol grip, and Inforce flashlight shes finally respectable. Tagged along to the range and she was a show stopper. Obnoxiously loud and shoots literal fireballs

Actually that's really nice. Small size. Perfect for the lady.

There are so many choices out there that you really need to stop and think of what you're looking for in a firearm and then take some time to compare all the choices. But that looks like a top ten candidate for the lady. I'm taking her to a gun shop where she can feel different guns in her hand. She's also taking some classes away from me so she can learn how to use a firearm in a proper setting. I want her carrying but only if she's had proper training on how to handle a firearm.

yeah i agree with the amount of good choices in the market right now, tons of competition.

Take a look at the Ruger LCP line in .380, they are only 11 oz. Big difference in weight.
The 9mm micro compacts will run closer to a lb, and are a bit snappy to get back on target.
Training would be easier with a heavier gun or smaller caliber, plus you can palm the smaller gun to keep it handy going thru the parking lot.

Yeah. It's a good intermediate range round. Obviously the ammo is much more expensive than .22 so for just plinking it is more spendy. Before my area became "civilized" I wish I had had one 30 yrs ago but it didn't exist then lol.

lcp 380 has got to be the most garbarge pistol I have ever shot. I can bang an 8x11 plate at 50 yards with my carry pistol which is very short, I couldnt hit a target at 5 yards with that thing.

This is what I carry and cant complain about a thing.

the ammo is a bit pricey for sure.

i was also looking at .204 but that's even more for the ammo and rifle.

Looks nice - never shot one but then again I've never heard a bad word on any Wilsons.

I was teethed & trained on the 1911 so this is my everyday carry (shot Expert in qualifying, shoot/don't shoot and APOC many times).
Colt Wiley Clapp series 70 lightweight commander in .45 ACP - the only mod I performed was to fit a Wilson extended thumb safety.
I can field strip/operate her in my sleep.
Muscle memory is an amazing thing.

Edit: NMP and as for carry I always place the weapon in condition one. (chambered, full mag & thumb safety ON) As pictured I would classify her as ready for action but not safe just laying around (even though as pictured it has no mag)

I advise anyone with guns to check Ammoseek.com for the best ammo prices. Brick and mortar shops and ranges are still price gouging like a mf and i hate it. Even gunbroker sellers have better prices than my local shops if youre buying a few hundred to 1000 rounds.
