I was looking into those umbrellas. It appears it would help illuminate the canopy an the backsides more, while still having the vertical bulb in the center.

Scuba tanks eh , thats some serious shit lol.....i dont think i have any lying aroung , must look in the garage ....

good idea with the scuba tanks that sounds much cheaper than the co2 generator. gotti how is that blue mystic tasting/looking, correct me if im wrong but that is the plant you chopped and smoked right??
 
Yeah I cut 4 Blue mystic. Total was Eighty something grams dry. Its super smooth, even large hits and roaches. It really doesnt smell until you grind some up to roll a joint. They it has like a nice citrus berry smell....my wife likes it :) Its usually really stoney, but being early its really heady this time. Unfortunately I wont be running BM again for a while. I plan on moving on with my list of strains. I harvested the bud from my last super skunk, left a couple leaves, and put it back in veg. I have to prune the roots tomorrow then hopefully in the near future I can cut some SS clones. Hopefully it works, I would like to run the SS a couple more times. Anyone done any revegging to clone?
 
Revegging Super Skunk. Root pruned and put back into the 3 gallon pot.

You just trim the root ball down with a knife, then put it back into the pot with more fresh medium. Make sure you leave a decent amount of roots there though. You can leave some leaves down lower than I did, and trim it down shorter. I left mine a foot high so I could fit it in with my clones, and have the leaves close to the light, I wasnt prepared to reveg it.

Also the tanks are more expensive to run than the dew bottles. It will just last much longer and be adjustable to maximize but limit the level of C02.
 
i thought if you mess with the roots you have a real possibility of killing the plant or turning the plant into a hermi. about the scuba tanks i was talking about an actual co2 generator machine i see them online going for more than $1300 i think its like $20-30 to refill a tank maybe less im not to sure...
 
I have a propane C02 burner at my other location. It costs like $25 a month to run, not too bad.

Its not in flowering so im not worried about it herming. I just chopped the last BM in the tent. Its 110g wet, so it will be about an ounce dry. This one showed more of the white strain in it.
 
The first four were 7 weeks, and this one was just over 8 weeks. If you look in the lower right of the 60X picture you will see some amber, about 4 or 5 dots. I would say its about 25% amber. The first four were mostly milky, just less body high.
 
Just ordered some fem seeds for mother pants. I got ghs-super lemon haze finally, also g13-pineapple express, next generation-purple diesel, and a freebie C99.

That brings me to a total of 8 mother plants for this year. Ill be using lots of clones this summer, between this tent and another 5x5 that will be doing sea-of-green with 800w of induction lighting. (equal to 1500w hps/mh)
 
nice, im looking forward to seeing what an induction lamp can do, to bad there way out of my budget. good luck with it, souds like your going to have a nice garden, plenty of variety.
 
Me too, someone is growing blue dream under 2 400w induction lamps, the outcome of his grow will probably be the deciding factor for my purchase.

Planted directly into the medium, 16oz cups, under a single 42w CFL.
 
dam i got to say im feeling a little jealous, my next grow im thinking of getting seeds from nervana i think the name is ice, not to sure, i hear its some real dank. might even get some buba kush like you have good luck. good idea about seeing what those lamps can do before buying them, i like how they emit low heat though.
 
Those holes look like they may be a bit too deep...remember they only need 1/4" below the soil, and 1/4" is VERY shallow.

Most about 3/8s ish, they look deeper without the flash, but with the flash I couldnt even see the holes. Two of them were deep, I did fill them in a bit before I planted them.

These seeds look really small compared to the seeds Ive gotten from nirvana. Ive probably only had a couple this small. Shouldnt make a difference, should it?

They look nice and healthy, hard shell, nice nipple. I should have taken a close-up prior.

I've had all shapes/sizes grow into fine plants. As long as it isn't cracked or too dried out you should be fine.
