running vertical bare bulbs in a colisseum or stadium grow. you use almost twice as much surface area to grow than in a horizontal setup. something like this setup (https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/149998-heaths-flooded-tube-vertical.html). i think heath got 2.25 out of that one.so,when you say the RIGHT set-up, could you elaborate? thanks
With a setup like this you should achieve your goal without any doubt as long you have a productive strainsome people on here say no some people say yes. hope i get the gram. its in a 54x54in tent with 1000watt hps and 2 t5's feeding them hollands seceret with bloombastic and just got a tea maker and going to add tea today. i have spent more 4000$ on setup so far. i have co2 and a setinel controller keeping the co2 at 1450 ppm i feed 3 times a day for 15min but thinking about trying 4 times for 10min because one of the plants is sagging its leaves. have it on an ebb and flow system with hydroton. just got a 1hp water chiller to maintain 69 degree nutrient temp. this is only my 3rd grow using the ebb and flow and still a little new to the whole hydro thing. cant wait today is 2 weeks on 12 and 12...
run your nutrient solution a little cooler. i find that 66 degrees works better and also helps to prevent algae and slime issues.some people on here say no some people say yes. hope i get the gram. its in a 54x54in tent with 1000watt hps and 2 t5's feeding them hollands seceret with bloombastic and just got a tea maker and going to add tea today. i have spent more 4000$ on setup so far. i have co2 and a setinel controller keeping the co2 at 1450 ppm i feed 3 times a day for 15min but thinking about trying 4 times for 10min because one of the plants is sagging its leaves. have it on an ebb and flow system with hydroton. just got a 1hp water chiller to maintain 69 degree nutrient temp. this is only my 3rd grow using the ebb and flow and still a little new to the whole hydro thing. cant wait today is 2 weeks on 12 and 12...
too true or they go lucky. the truth is a lot goes into pulling over a gram per watt hell i only pull i think 1.5 in my setup and thats if everything is going good. if everything was perfect the whole way i could see 2 grams per watt, but i cant imagine how one would maintain a perfect environment for thst long. IMO anything around .75 gram per watt and up is good.when anyone says they get a gram per watt everytime.. they are either a pro, or a liar.
unless you are running a vertical bare bulb (which i don't think you are) you aren't pulling 1.5 or 2gpw. think you are calculating wrong.too true or they go lucky. the truth is a lot goes into pulling over a gram per watt hell i only pull i think 1.5 in my setup and thats if everything is going good. if everything was perfect the whole way i could see 2 grams per watt, but i cant imagine how one would maintain a perfect environment for thst long. wordd... most people dont have the balls to do 30 lights with 30 plants per light lol. its hard to pull a gpw off something with only 6 plants under a 1k. damn near need 6 zones a plantunless you are running a vertical bare bulb (which i don't think you are) you aren't pulling 1.5 or 2gpw. think you are calculating wrong.
plenty of guys pull 1gpw consistantly. granted they do tend to be on "smaller" grows. the easiest way to do it on a regular basis is with technique (i.e. SCROG or SOG) and since these tend to only be used by smaller scale growers then that is why you don't see many commercial grows actually doing it. people tend to foeget that the larger a grow op is the more wasted space you normally have.
