I just flipped to flowering 4 days ago. They are healthy and growing like mad. So far, so good.

Man, your scrog lookin good.
I see you're using string. I used string this time on a 3x3 scrog and I'm not a big fan of the string. It moves too much, maybe I didn't string it up tight enough or something. I went back to the green wire fencing again on my 2x2, it's so sturdy - where I train my plants is where she stays... with the string man the plant just pushes that shit around and it doesn't stay where I put it.

Thanks! This is my first one, really. I've used netting to tie them down, but never to this level. I can see why some people use chicken wire and stuff. My line might be really loose by the end, but so far, it is holding up (down) alright. It does get pushed around just a LITTLE by some of the larger branches, but I haven't found it to be a problem YET. Good luck!

It might be because of the Nylon rope you are using. Nylon stretches and doesn't cinch as well in knots. (sorry this is the Boy Scout in me). If you use twine rope the material may hold better than the nylon depending upon how you tie the knots. Also if you try weaving the lines that go across the net alternating above and below you may also hold more tension, think wicker basket. The weaving technique may improve nylons performance as well.

I did alternate the weave. Also, this is one string, beginning and terminating at the same pole. I can tighten it up a little by rolling the PVC bars a tad, and if that doesn't work, I can retrace the line, pull slack, and give my threaded coupling a crank or two in the direction that takes up the slack. No nylon on nylon knots here.
I haven't done it before, and might be talking smack prematurely. We will see if they toss my $hi+ around by day 21 or so.

You should be great, sounds like you hit all the points on this. LOL you would make a decent Pioneering merit badge teacher LOLI did alternate the weave. Truckin' right along at day 11 of 12/12. So far both the plants and the contraption are holding up well.

And Lafonda is just now hitting the screen...
Estimated dropping of seeds for the bubbleponics/SCROG run is 9/20 - going to be Barney's Pineapple Chunk. I will start a thread and post the link when the seedlings are ready.

Those first SCROG plants really got taller this past week. My LSD plant is about the same age at Day 13 into flowering, and she looks very similar. And I think that my younger 2 plants are about the same age from seed as Lafonda is, but they've gotten pretty tall.
Looking forward to that DWC project. I grew Pineapple Chunk a couple of times and it's one of the best strains I've grown. You can tell that I've been sticking with Barney's Farm products for the most part, just because I know they're good and potent. I used to also grow with DWC buckets like yours all the time, so it'll be fun to watch yours. Deja vu all over again. I feel kind of nostalgic.

Is your wheeled SCROG setup still rolling good now that your plants put on some weight? I noticed that weight makes a big difference with mine, especially when I fill the res with 5 gallons of water.

It's still rolling pretty well. It wouldn't win the soap box derby or anything. I only really need it to roll out of the tent and then swivel it. I turn them a quarter turn every watering. I really HOPE they get so heavy the cart DOESN'T roll worth a f-
I will have to be sure and fill the bubbleponics bin AFTER it is back in the tent when that is running, because I have to lift the wheels up and over the bottom bar and fabric of the tent - just to avoid any slushing around.greatbranch

Very nice canopy there, GB! My plant's budding kind of like that, but I only have a few branches left after pruning out most of the skinny ones. Now I understand the 2' width limitation of my closet.
Keep that plant healthy like you've been doing! You'll reap lots of benefits from this plant I predict.

And Lafonda has been battling a bit of a deficiency. Think the PH might be a little high, or the Mg issue just never progressed past the showing phase. New growth looks just fine. I'll actually get some use out of my soil PH meter. I've only used it a few times. How badly can you overgrow your container size before it's hard to keep the elements in check? She's supporting an awful lot of growth at the moment. - that has only recently been a thought. She's at day 8 of 12/12.

Thanks, man! Someone on the SCROG'n thread actually told me that my screen was overgrown from that photo! $hi+, I thought that was the point!...lol. I'm willing to take some advice, but everything I have cut off was GREEN and thriving. It was easy to see that some were going to be suckers after the stretch stopped, but what's everyone's HURRY in taking snips to the ladies? - that age old defoliation argument, I guess.
It has been a joy to have everything the same height! - Don't hate me...you know I've been there!
