Greenhouse seeds ...WHY?!

Hi all , just want to know if anyone knows the answer to this puzzle.Or if anyone from greenhouse is reading an answer from you would be great.
Now don't get me wrong i'm not hating on greenhouse ,i would just like an explanation.

Ok,if any of you have ever taken the time to look at the greenhouse website you would see that they do product info on the plant which states the yeild ,effects ,thc content etc , but in addition they also do a "grow session video" on almost every strain aswell.Basicly it's a recent grow of the plant from start to finish and also includes a lab analysis of the thc content at each week aswell as cbd and cbg.

Heres the problem , the 3 strains of theirs i'm interested in and have watched the video .The final THC content conflicts with the advertised thc content in all 3 plants.

White rhino is advertised as 18 or 19% Thc ,but the grow session finishes with 11% thc.

Super silver haze is advertised as 19% an finishes on the video with 8% !

Super lemon haze is advertised as 22% thc and they don't even reveal the thc content in the video at all,and just reveal the cbd!!


All i hear is good things about these strains ,but this false advertising has put me off big time.I can only do 1 more grow for the forseeable future and i want it to be a good one and i need concrete information before i plant a seed.


So any ideas what they are playing at?

Thats Arjan. He puts numbers everywhere to confuse you. Even better high yields but thats wet yields.

Dont trust them as far as you could throw them.

Most companies "stretch" facts and use biased research teams in order to make a profit this is nothing new. I think you'll find GHS spends far more time on bogus marketing and bullshit than
they do breeding/"landrace hunting".... there's a reason why numerous growers will never touch their shit.... ever. Personally I've never used them but because of the witch hunt boner so many

GHS is not for the serious grower. It's a company that sells t-shirts, jockey hats and of course a variety of colourful cannabis (?) seeds..move elsewhere, so many breeders to choose from!
I have repeatedly grown from GHS (Super silver haze, Super Lemon haze, Cheese, Green-o-matic), nothing came out as it was described, low quality genetics and a crap smoke..

A breeder that gives a shit. If you like GHS why not order from MRnice guy so you get the ACTUAL genetics that won all the cannabis cups, cant link cause dunno if it violates sponsor rules but google.

I am a closet grower with very limited space.I can only grow 1 plant at a time so i need fem beans ,which mr nice does not do unfortunatley ,and before you start dissing fem beans i have never had 1 single seed in my weed from fem beans.

Fems are ok. Ive been growing them for the past 3 years. Have had stellar results with a few strains. DNA and Reserva Privada have some fire! Emerald triangle has some nice fem offerings that are nice yeilders and very potent. Im getting into the Sannies thing as of lately. There are many many reputable fems out their. Just do some research on the strains you pick. I like to cruise Attitude Seedbank. Then I go to google and type in the strain names smoke report. Great way to get info before you buy. Good Luck

I agree with jimdandy (DNA, Reserva Pr., Emerald tr., and Sannies) check out also the Cali Connection and Dinafem, I had spectacular results with both.

if you can only do one more grow for the foreseeable future id say grow another company's beans. ive grown quite a few of the ghs strains and while i have found a rare winner here and there ive been let down many more times than ive been even decently pleased.

once i grew out a 5 pack of big bang and OMG...those genetics were so unstable i got plants as short as 2 ft and as tall as 6ft. it was a NIGHTMARE to grow. the end result: yield was 8oz under 1 600w light (far less than advertised..) the effect was anything but anti-anxiety. in fact it was very racy. very unhappy with it overall. the bud itself was decent esepecially for cheap beans but based on what i expected when i ordered and what i got i wasn't happy.

i grew kings kush (one through pick and mix) and it was a lemon. it grew only 2ft tall with a yield of only 1oz (i grew other plants alongside it in the same size pot/conditions/nutes and got as high as 4oz on one of the other plants with 3 oz being the avg yield per plant) terrible. just terrible. the smell is HORRIBLE (in a bad way) it smells like pine/dirt/and some other faint foul smell. its hardly considered mids in quality and ive put off smoking it for the longest because its actually a chore to smoke.

however. i did grow one great white shark (also through pick and mix) and it was amazingly accurate to the description (minus the 1000g claims they make which ive learned never to trust...its so unrealistic of a estimate) in terms of high, smell, the way it grows etc and the yield was actually a little bit above avg (over 2 1/2 oz but just under 3oz) not bad. i would even grow it again (assuming i get a decent pheno. i only ordered 1 on pick and mix so idk how many others share my experience)


im curious to try the SLH and SSH because i hear so many good things (surprisingly its all i usually hear good about when it comes to ghs) but beyond that im not gonna buy any ghs gear. if its freebies then thats different but no more shelling out $$ on strains that let me down.



what kind of high's do you like? any special requests?

ive had good luck with anything ive ever ordered with dinafem except one bean didnt pop one time...coulda been my fault but all the others were certainly winners in my book. white berry from paradise seeds is a very good all day smoke (day or night) and many on here have raved about it

i agree. if u really like what ghs is advertising try mr nice as he is the original breeder who still has these genetics in his possession.

it appears arjan is trying to continue mr nice gear but its obviously not panning out.

what sort of high do i like , well i do love a good sativa high but i also love a nice comfortable couch lock high to. .. so i guess a hybrid would suit me .sharksbreath any good?
