Its been awhile since i last posted.

Have had a lot of fund issues and had to down size and conserve more of what i smoke.

I find my self making tinctures as they last longer for me.

But my Jack The Ripper cut is still going.

I'm really into the tincture these days too. I'm mixing 3 grams hash to 1oz liquid. 20 - 25% vodka or everclear, 75 - 80% glycerin. What's your mix?

1/4 alcohol pref ever clear or lab grade ethanol (friends from high school)

3/4 veg. glycerin

1 oz alcohol 3 oz glycerin usually with about 12-14 grams of vacuum purged decarbed bho

i find oil makes for greater absorption rates into the solution when used right after decarbing

Sounds like we have about the same formula. I've wondered how much hash can be absorbed in the tincture mix. It's interesting that we ended up with the same concentration level. Do you need to strain the tincture when you're done or is BHO pure enough that there is no "goo" in the mix? With ice water hash I have to strain out the goo.

nathen your still kicking it around? ill be damned

nah i decarb my oil in the oven it becomes very easy to manage then becomes very liquidy

so it enters the solution alittle easier and i use a good screen so no goop to contend with

Hey Rrog - I posted my recipe over here. You can use vodka in place of everclear but everclear is better.

tbh i only use butane extracted hash now and co2 is close second

butane when properly purged and prepared is the best solvent ive used for oil ever

purging butane for some reason seems to be really hard for some people

i have a vacuum sealer for my mason jars so purging is easy but anyone can do it with the right materials and shop vac
