the cuttings look fine, the trick with clones is the cutting will just sit there for the longest time
only when the cutting becomes convinced it's dying will it begin to throw out roots
so cuttings can look like crap, yet turn out fine if kept alive to the point of making roots

they still look great a day later....is it possible for them to just keep there strength and grow roots? They aren't under a light right now, just sitting in the natural light in my room, not direct sunlight.

natural background light will probably be fine, clones need very little
and they could look great right up until rooting if all factors are dialed in right

i'd think it will be faster, but that's a guess, every plant will do it's own thing
as a for instance, the cali-o i revegged never really stopped flowering, even with the new vegetation
it grew some thin pistils on all the new veg growth, i had somebody post they had seen the behaviour before

yea thats what i was meaning, tons of pistils on all new growth..we'll see. only got so much control over mother nature..especially when your going for a while.

will those clones be able to last 20-25 days in those planters? It's either try transplanting, though it could not have roots, at 10 days. or leave it till i get back.. I know the one in the big one will be fine.

20-25 days unattended is a long shot, unless there's some setup for automatic watering
but cannabis is tough, so it's possible
that's for inside, if you put them outside before you go, your chances may be better, at least for water

yeah, im not worried about watering, if anything im worried they'll get too much...putting them outside when i leave. same with the mother

I am kinda worried about the transplant though, i dont want them dying because they're stuck in tiny containers. but than again at 10 days they could be either too fragile or not have roots yet..

im guessing she'll be too big by the time i get home to flower in my box, so ill either have to take a new clone or hopefully one of the ones i got survives, but i was wondering if i were to leave the mother outside to flower/harvest what size planter needs to be used? 5 gallon? she was planted about a week into may..

And i got no idea about my clones, if they start to take roots, will they become root bound n possibly die if i cant transplant them into something bigger for 3 weeks. or should i try to transplant it to something bigger at 9 days or so. they are in about 4inch by 5 inchdeep planters. one, that i kinda doubt will do well, is in about a 6x6in

if your clones become root bound, don't worry about them dying in that space of time
they may not be happy, but should snap back after a transplanting
5 gallons for the mother sounds good, i've never done plants outside in containers, but that was many moons ago, straight in the ground for all my outside grows

lookin at the weather back home...suppsoed to be like 20 with little rain for like 2 weeks....but has been rainin steady the past couple days i've been gone. Got no control over it, but if the mother / any clones survive..be a miracle lol....wonder how my babies are doin

how long you think it can survive without watering? suppose to be a steady 75 -80 degrees, soil retains water a little bit too good

a lot depends on the soil and how much 'sponge' it has, don't want to give misleading information, if you do have clones that take, it will be an impressive cloning achievement

i hate suspense lol...got another couple weeks till i find out if im screwed..

They should be fine right now, only a week without water. I've gone 8 days without watering this mother and the soil was still not the dry-est. The plant wasn't wilting at all after that much time. It's the next couple weeks that'll make or break it...although there isn't suppose to be much if any rain till the 19th..so if that happens..there all dead

Its been a while since I've been back, but been real busy and haven't had the time for a forum...but anyways, the mother survived and is bout 3 feet tall, found 4 of the other plants out of 6, two of them actually ended up surviving and are starting to grow decently now. thank you mother nature :)

a worth while result, but it is a gut twister if you're away and can't see how they're going, pics will be great if possible

thought about it surprisingly way less than i thought i would..ill try to post a couple sometime. the clone is still very small, but i can see it growing. Also, transplanted and trimmed it a bit...some leaves with tons of holes and some slug slime..

well, flower should be getting ready to happen outdoors, if it hasn't already
the mother sounds like it could produce a decent amount
