Grow Legally Money Grab

Grow Legally is charging patients $700+ for doc to sign ACMPR for home grows! Even after telling them I've already filled out the application myself they said I would need to go through their "program" at a cost of $700+ (can't recall the exact number).

I used this company to get my medical licence some time ago at a cost of $150(they now charge $300). Considering my family doc is firmly against cannabis, I didn't think this was a big deal. I was wrong. This place isn't compassionate, they don't give a shit about cannabis as medicine, all they wan't is $$$$$$.

Stay as far away as you can from these guys and find yourself a truly compassionate doctor.

Agreed. It's not easy, but I've got until February before my script runs out so hopefully I'll find an honest doctor by then.

HC shouldn't be allowing clinics to charge outrageous fees like this though. It doesn't exactly make access to medicinal cannabis any easier now does it.

$700.00 That is retarded, you're right it shouldn't be allowed. My clinic is $275.00 (up to 5g daily script) and that includes ACMPR medical form. My Dr won't sign so i figured $275.00 was reasonable. Add $750.00 for clones from the rip off artists and that's a lot of upfront cash for most folks.

Only the truly stupid will buy their clones.

Don't forget the visit fee they are collecting from taxpayers on top of the extortion payments. It's a scam, it's illegal and it needs to stop. I personally don't have the time, money or patience to search the country for a 'compassionate' doctor, if such an animal even exists. Treat cannabis like any other prescription or get the fuck out of my way. I don't need or want a doctor to decide what quality of life I deserve.

Go to Canadian Cannabis Clinic everything is for free as long you have your health card. Really great service!

How much does the doctor charge to write a script for morphine? Does the price change according to need? Why do they think they can treat cannabis patients like fucking ATM's? I'd like to see these clinics raided and the doctors charged.
As for buying clones or seeds, ask them how much they paid mmar growers for their genetics? Plenty of seeds and clones around without resorting to the LP's.

The guy on the phone was a complete ass about it to. Basically screaming at me, rambling on about the doctor not being able to sign without knowing what I'm going to grow. Seriously, the doctor isn't going to decide which kind of cannabis I need to treat my illness anyway. Called me "bro" about 5 times until I finally had to tell him I wasn't his bro and wasn't buying into his greedy little scam.

If anyone knows of any truly compassionate clinics in Ontario I'd love to hear about them.

I only need 2gpd currently, I am unsure if they have an upper limit as I have never asked for above 3 since being a patient. They signed for a 12 month script which surprised me as their LP scripts are only 6 months but they said with waiting on grow times that it is what they sign for. I do wonder what they would say if someone went in as a patient already using 10gpd+, if they would sign off or refuse though. I may have an upper limit answer from them in the future if my buddy who is using around 10gpd decides to go through them (he is debating on this or just continuing what he already does currently).

Sorry that I don't have more info than that for you currently, I honestly never asked about higher limits as they were not needed for my treatment.

You certainly don't need a clinic or doctor to sign your grow application once you have your medical exemption already. Just fill out the grow app and send that off to Hellth Canada with your ORIGINAL from your doc or the doc can fax it in to HC from their office. I had 4 notarized copies of mine made and still have my original as I'm on the fence about applying to grow and likely won't. Don't want to be on the hit list if the gov't rules against home growing like early indications seem to be pointing to. Who's to say they won't alert the local authorities that you have a permit to grow if they rule against home growing. They already pulled that shit sending paperwork to every MMAR patient with the MMAR logo on the letters and there's a big court case about that going on for outing everyone.

Totally agree with that @OldMedUser, been under the radar for 40+ years, not seeing any benefit to be on any lists now. Do what you need to do and keep it quiet, there'll be enough registered people for them to hassle if it comes to that.
