Grow Tent Club

I was thinking of running a Y splitter from the carbon filter into 2 cool tubes, one holding a 600w HPS and one with a 400w MH, then use another Y connector into an 8" inline fan to pull the air through and out the exhaust

Should work fine, I have seen setups similar to this before.
 
Funny thing is if Prop 19 passes that will be the legal limit under that Proposition, 25 sq ft, I'm a Prop 215 patient and no where near my legal limit

Im running a 400 hps in a DR100 bit smaller than yours but only able to keep the temps down because I have a 4" RVK + Rhino filter and a cooltube before I had either of them I had to keep the door open. You'd prob need a lot bigger fan to run a 600w HPS + 400w MH. just my thoughts
 
I run a 6" 430cfm with my 600w right now, I thought maybe an 8" that has a 747cfm rating would be good for both...the 10" only moves 797cfm for $50 more.

I don't want to cut corners but I have a feeling you might be right
 
I'll have some pics up of my tent grow within the next couple of days hopefully. I've only got like 130ish watts of CFL in it right now, waiting for my 400hps to get here with my 4" inline fan. Will be running a custom carbon filter for now. I"m thinking I'll be combating heat but we'll find out.
 
lol. Awesome. The big brown truck just brought my goodies! WIll have pics tonight around midnight when the lights come back on.

I was think same when I buy any equiptment and neuts start cutting corners'buying the buget stuff and It will cost you more in long run having to replace them.
but thats just my thoughts anyway.

like the guy below you said, i got the plants, check out the grow ;)

it was pretty simple actually. I set the filter on my shoulder and had the straps loosened up and just tightened em up and i was done. Those straps would be easy to find at a wally world, a big 5 or something like that. works and looks great
