Hey guys, I need some big time help. I set up my tent when the temps around here were pretty low, and my tent is in an addict. It is now getting really warm in the room and is causing my tent to shoot up in the 90's during the day. When the temps outside are good my tent stays in the 70's with lights on. I have to cool the outside room down and have no way of installing a window ac unit and I dont have enough money to buy a portable right now. What in the hell should I do? Can you mod a window unit to sit in a room without a window?
Or anyone know of any good deals or ideas? +rep on this, I need help soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

stick the a/c into the tent and leave the hot side outside the tent? Lol that prolly wont work, but do you have any fans pulling in fresh air? If so how many and how cfm?

I have a 525 cfm fan pulling air out, in which I use my passive intake flaps for intake.

I am not real knowledgeable with tents, but have you tried another fan pulling air in in addition to passive intake? It might make a lil difference. How hot is the room when it is 90* in the tent?

I say tents are the way to go. I had a home made box 2 chamber and was going to stop growing. I had to cut the thing up into small pieces and take it to the dump. Not stealth. After i grow a crop or two for personal use i just pack up the tent in a big storage tote till next year. I did build a small box to go under the tent though. It has a sealed section with the inline fan in it and some insulation material to reduce noise. Then the other chamber has the carbon filter and a opening with speaker grill cloth. This also raises the tent a little to make taking care of the plants easier. So with my current config i pull air from tent and push it out a filter.

2x4x5 grow tent
400w dual MH/HPS ballest
4 inch fan and carbon filter.

Anyone know where to find any shorter in height grow tents? would like something 4x4 or 4x5 or 4x6 would be ideal but i cant find anything under 50" which i would also like

i know i can build my own kind of thing out of mylar but would be nice to have an actual tent for support for my lights and a carbon fan

thanks for any advice...

blooming.jpg2 days after the bulb has been changed..................think ima start the iguana bloom now and the bud candy..........anyone have an idea if these products should be used seperately or all mixed together??........... ladies are looking good..........It's gonna be my first time tryin these AN nutes, used to use the BIO BIZZ products.......................hope all goes well with these...

your tent is in an addict? theyre people too you know so i bet it must be pretty warm in an addict. so you shouldnt have any problems. what kind of addict. meth? crack?

haha im sorry, i wasnt trying to come off as mean i was just having a little fun with the play on words of attic and addict. sorry if i offended anyone. as actual insight i could say run flexible ducting to the coldest room in your house if you mind it not being as cold, and have the cold air get sucked into grow area, then keep a lot of air flowing out so it doesnt have as much chance to get as hot? might work might not, those are just my two cents though. or get a cheap window ac unit from any place you can find them for super cheap, thrift stores, garage sales etc.. and run it in your area providing you have the room, or eunning in the room the cold air is getting sucked out of if you do the ducting idea i said. thats about all i can think of

i mean you could run the ducting out to the colder room with the ac, and not have another fan. so the cold air would get sucked in like a passive intake. again sorry for sounding like a dick

im only have a small tent 60cm x 60cm x 120cm my temps hit 104 somedays plants seem to love it though,

what do you guys think of this.? i.m on a tight budget but want to stick my bf bc under a 600w hps as they have been 50 days vegging under a cheap 90w led ufo

did start off with one and temps were better but cant belive haw much faster this shit grows with two, have my lights 6 inches from the top of my plants and have to raise them about 5 times a week, just been lookin at portable a/c units think im gonna invest this week,
plus i read somewere on here about more watts = more grams is that true?, assuming i dont cook them in that little oven i call my tent.
