the hot air is pumped out the window by a 6" vortex, not sure what the room temp outside the temp, i'd imagine thats where my problem is, everything got a little messed up and I have 20 plants behind the tent with a 400 HPS, hopefully when thats gone everything will be great, I think I will get a AC tho for peace of mind like DAISY said...

this is what is behind my growtent with the heat issues, most likely the problem. only temporary!

these were taken right as the light was coming on. The room the tent is in is light tight, so I keep the passive vents at the bottom of the tent open and run fans on timers from outside, I have a couple smaller fans I can put inside the tent, but I haven't had any real issues. What's growing in there is eight random bagseed plants. Probably a little more crowded than I wanted, but I'm sure I'll be able to deal with it. I really didn't think every seed I started would sprout...but there ya go. I'm nine days into 12/12 with a 250 HPS

First time using a tent running 400w and hopefully adding (2) 150w hps as well when i flower if i can keep the temps low enough.Growing LSD Grapegod Grapefruit Diesel and Sour Kush. Just topped a few days ago link is in my sig if anyone wants to check it out.

Had 3 tangerine dreams, flowered them at 10 inches, @ 15 days flower they were 2.8ft
... so around day 17 I chopped a foot+ off of EACH branch.. I was thinking hermie for sure with these femmed seeds!
Well they are kicking ass pumping pistils the two in the front... The one sativa pheno in the back is only showing a few pistils here and there at day 22... It worries me but i think its just a late bloomer

Greetings everyone, Long time member fairly new poster. First and foremost I'd like to say thank you all for all the posts and info, you guys made a lot of things easier. It took be a bit to read everything, I didnt mind thought it was interesting,...Gf however wasnt so thrilled lol. Let me say that I started out building my grow boxes out of convience. I had the basic know how and access to materials. I've done a few successful grows now with these make shift boxes and the equipment that I could afford. So needless to say I had a 400mh without proper ventilation other then desk fans and oscillating fans. Which meant that I had to keep doors open and nothing was light tight. The boxes were heavy to move and breaking them down if lets say an insurance inspector has to come and check every inch of the house. So after I tore my boxes down and made them disappear it was too much time and effort. I am now the proud owner of a SUN HUT XL 56"x56"x78" It has a reflective mylar interior, draw string vent ports, front and rear door access, completly light tight and a good heavy fabric. The thing weighs about 85lbs with aluminum poles for a frame. I also picked up a 6" active air inline fan that moves 400cfm. Then I ran out of money lol. My next purchase hopefully in the next few weeks will be a lumatek 1000 switchable ballast with a cool tube. I plan on running a independant DWC set-up with 4 buckets to start. I want two of the buckets occupying the back of my tent under a SCROG and the other two out in front with another two strains. This will still leave me plenty of room to start up some auto's and what not in pro-mix for fun. I'd like to find a good strain of auto's for breeding so I can have a bunch of seeds for future bumper crops, ....variety is the spice of life of course. I will definetly be starting a journal as soon as all the peices come together and I make my strain selection for the maiden voyage. Anyways I'm now a Grow tent member, I have to go tho, My gf is telling me to stop typing lol ....cheers folks for now. got 3 fem cheese going in a small 1.2 / 1.2 / 2 m tent.
all are from big buddha seeds, 2 are cheese and the bigger 1 is bubble cheese which i just had given to me.
my friend has been pruning her so she is nice and small, plan is to let the others catch up as i am not topping or doing anything to them, chuck em all in flower in a few more weeks!!

I recently purchased a SUN HUT XL and havent set it up yet, I'm waiting on a new light, ballast, and cool tube before I put it together, the time also gives me a chance to figure out where I'm putting the thing. Looks like I need to find a peice of wood to cover my window for vent exhaust and intake, not worried about covering the window cause its kinda behind a bush and you cant see it from the street. As soon as I have this thing put together and up I'll be doing a quick review of my thoughts on this tent, im already thinkin it'll be a good review, it looks tight. For my first grow in the tent i'll be doing a Pineapple Express in a SCROG in the back half of the tent and then have a few ladies such as bubba kush, kush berry, and maybe a cole train and blue cheese. My veg box will be getting two auto's just for shits and giggles to see how they do and yield and smoke.

I would wait on harvesting that. It can get a lot bigger. Defintely have to wait until you at least have amber hairs or get a magnifier and look at your thc crystals and see if they are ready.
But it is definately too early to harvest.
