A tent is more than just a controlled environment. The reflective walls pay huge dividends in terms of par value. Controlling day/night for photos in a tent is made easy. Odor control with negative air pressure (exhaust) and many more benefits. It ALL depends on what YOUR needs are! A tent is practical for most home growers with limited space.
Thanks for your idea :weed:

The only reason I have a tent is to controller light...and because it's a tent I also needs a fan to control air flow yatta yatta it's a slippery slope.

Nope, not a necessity. Can they serve a purpose, yes. Putting a grow tent inside my grow room is only going to make my room smaller and not let me lift the lights up as high. I can use panda plastic to line floors and walls to get all the light reflection I need.

All need is relative. Do the plants need it? No. Do the circumstances warrant covert operations, or is darkness impossible otherwise, then maybe. I think he gets it by now.

On another note, I just noticed the Diode layout on the SF 2000 (more diodes towards the outer edge). I have a few 200W quantum boards here, and they have a heavy hotspot.
Yes,spider farmer SF series changed the spectrum ratio, confirm it's uniform PPFD distribution
