growing in attic; will a 1000W get too hot???

i can probably find a those big metallic fan put some around tent
there are no windows but a hole on roof that has a small fan. winter is coming will it work ?

hell of a footprint in the attic. just going to have to set it up and monitor the temps. Might have to run the light at night.

Are you asking if a 1000w will be too hot in an attic grow space?

I'm not sure of the winter temps on the west coast but a 1000w, either HPS or MH bulb is going to burn very hot. If the temps get low enough, you can use the light to your advantage & warm your space with it, by not exhausting all your air. Your best bet is to get a hood and inline fan with fan speed control, and monitor & adjust accordingly.

It might be ok during winter nights but as soon as the outside temps warm up it will be too hot. If you haven't bought the light yet look for an aircooled model. Also supplementing the air with Co2 will allow you to run hotter temps. 85-90 max.
