Growing wee upside down

Weed is Gravitropic. So it wont work...

The plant will bend up towards the roof no matter where the light is.

Fan leafs are Phototropic, they follow light, but the plant is gravitropic. Theres these starchy cells that settle in the roots so if you tried to grow it upside down these starchy cells would settle in the tops of the plants and would fuck it up.

Also roots grow in search of water, unlike tomatoes, to grow weed upside down you would need the pot upside down or else some INSANE bending and LST.

Did someone say upside down pot? Haha ...
Fdd did it last year. Got some decent looking plants out of it too.
Can't see why anyone would want to do this. Seems like it's more trouble than it's worth.

yeah his plants were suprisingly nice looking for growing upside down, I imagine no one would grow upside down unless its for pure curiosity and fun, because it is more trouble than its worth..

Yeah, FDD did it outside though so the light source would be above the plant.

I know there have been some threads with the idea of putting lights under the plants, Im not sure if thats what the OP meant but it probably wouldnt work out so well.

I agree though, its definitely more trouble then its worth. Although if your growing Tomatoes it works Great.
