This morning was busy, flushed plants with the nute solution, 0.85 EC, basically drained the rez so I got about a 70 +% runoff. The EC of the runoff after the first flush was 1.8, have been feeding at 1.1 to 1.2. The pH was perfect at 5.82.
I know now why I was getting the tip burn, and hope I am not getting any lockout, don't think so
. During my normal cycles I get < 5% runoff on the 1st cycle of the day, I believe that is due to the plants going through the night hours, with 15 hrs between drip cycles and then it only receives 1 min per cycle, so they are a bit drier. It is enough solution to get the plants to the next drip cycle, in 3 hours. By the last of the four daily drip cycle, at 6PM, getting just under 3 gallon runoff per 12 hour light cycle.
This flush should be a good thing as we will be going into this last few days before final flush, cleaning up the root zone will be a positive step.
Next I checked my clones that I took off the plants in the tent that will be going into the tent upon completion of this round. They will be getting hand watered today, they are looking ok.
Then pulled the clones I had taken off #5 about 3+ weeks into flower I believe. They were planted in Root Riot cubes then snuggled into a bed of coco. Left alone, under defused T5 lighting behind the plants above. Wow when I opened the cover this one stood out, got a close look, now I know why it looked that way.
Solid mold
The remainder of the the clones have rooted and following transplant into solo's they were given a good heavy dose of light nute pH'ed solution to 50% runoff.
Hope to get these three into one 15 gallon coco pot and do a horizontal Monster Crop. Have never done it but it looks like it would be a fun grow.
Ok here they are the, second generation of Barneys Farm LSD, they will be going into the tent this weekend.
The white stone on the top of the coco is Growstones, I was out of clay pellets, to hold the coco in place, so thought I would give this a try.
Guess that's about it, time to do chores now.
