Party at GT's house, lol. Looking real nice there. I'm about ready to start blooming my girls up here, just letting them burn off the stored nitrogen then it's 3-20-20 time.
Come on down partner. Your always welcome. Got 2 chairs for you and momma.
I gave some nutes today and I think I should of stayed because I could swear they grew 6 inches today. The weather has been hot for down here. Since the plants have grown to be about 5 feet (not counting pots) they are drinking more or the soil is drying out faster or both. We still have Aug and Sept which typically are hot months.
The JS1 (first in flower. now week 4) is starting to pack on some weight from the top down. I expect the colas to put on significant weight in the next month. JS 2 is starting to form a solid cola at the top. I gave all JS plants bloom fert today about 3/4 of a gal each. Hope they like it.
The WC continue to branch and grow tall. I think the CC is the biggest plant now with todays growth spurt. The 2 WC D pheno clones are really just bushes. The branches are really just a mass of branching with no single top growth. They are really like a ball bush but I havent topped or anything. They look like a mini FDD or Hodge plant is the best way to describe them.
The HJ was moved from the patio onto the lawn for more light. One thing I have to say about the HJ is it is a caterpillar magnet. These are caterpillars like I have never seen before. They only eat a little bit of the leaf (only a few small holes) before they roll up in the top leaves like a cacoon (I will try to get a pic tomorrow if I can find any). They are tiny brownish grey caterpillars which I have only seen on the HJ plant. I killed 3 and one moved so fast I dont know where it went.
Well that was all I needed to spray all of the plants in the area with Green Light Lawn and Garden with Spinosad. This should take care of those little bastards for now. I better get some more bottles for the sprayer for later.
I was a little supprised there wasnt more damage from the caterpillars. Maybe I caught them before they could eat much. Not sure why they like the HJ only but it is the only plant with an unmistakable smell.
I tried to do some close ups of the JS buds but I think I will need one of those USB microscopes to see trichs. Does anyone know of a decent one to take some pics?
