Anybody ever use advanced nutrients heavy harvest? It comes in a spring, summer, and fall blend and you use once per season. Im thinking about getting some this year. I normally don't believe in getting expensive nutes but this seems like it would go a long way, you would only need a 1/3 of a cup per plant and each one is 22 lbs. They are like 50$ a piece but I have heard good things and also heard it goes a long way. I figure you could just bring up like a baggie full each season. Anyway here is some link to info and feeding, etc.

I do like your ideas but I have a few to many plants for globe type efforts, and Iit might not rain so im trying to figure out like a 10 gallon back pack or something!
haha nice. local area weather forecast here is saying that we are in for another dry summer and that farmers are expected to have a slow crop. f***!

I've never used those but dry Nutes are easier to pack in. The biggest consideration is a discreet reliable water source. Just don't get too close to it in case of a flood. And keep in mind the critters usually travel the banks eating along the way.

alright ppl i have a question about an irrigation system. how would i get it to the two different spots i have and if my plants are spread out (not in rows) wouldn't it be a hassle to get the hoses to each plant and wouldn't it up the chance that someone might stumble across the hose, and how would i run the water pump

My advice would be to do a Google search for "guerrilla watering" and you will get all sorts of results of threads from Rollitup and other sites as well. I just did it and there is alot of info on your question. Google is a marijuana growers friend for real, damn near anything you want to know about can be found using Google.:peace:

any books you recommend. ive looked for videos but nothing
waldo, since you are new and full of questions you might try starting a new thread on particular questions instead of jumping on someone elses. Not razzing you but just trying to help. This site is full of knowledgable folks to help as long as you follow the right path.

Keep it to yourself and keep it within your capabilities. Good luck to ya. :weed:

from personal experience do you guys suggest using a flashlight when hiking at night for animals and such

i would never use a flashlight. thats way to easy to spot. someone in the bush at night with a flashlight? what the..?

also for the irragation system, i wouldnt run any hoses or anything either.

think about it this way. if you leave the spot where your plants are well camaflouged and looking natural, most people, if they were to stumble accross it, probably wouldnt even notice your plant there. now if there was hoses in a bush suddenly that raises suspicion. or a beaten path, or any signs of human activity.

what about digging holes in the ground, that you can fit 5 gallon buckets in? then digging the buckets in so you can't tell they are buckets? then during a drout, you can use collected rain water. and if there is lots of rain in the forecast, say 2 or 3 days worth, go empty them out, and get fresh stuff.

That's the toughest thing about GG. You want to go out and check on your babies when it's dark, so no one can see you.

The trade-off is you can't see shit yourself . I don't know how much night vision goggles are, but maybe I'll put in a request next Christmas for Santa to bring me the goggles.

I'm sure the motherfucker has a pair, 'how else can he navigate the sled in the dark of night? :-P Rudolph's red L.E.D light can only emit so much.

Oh, and I guess some compact cameras have night vision capability too.

That's a great tip. I'm totally dysfunctional though in the morning. I don't become coherent until 10:00am.
