It's a very good picture. It takes a remarkably jaded look at war and the men who fight. Highly unusual for that period in Hollywood.

It is about the Battle of the Bulge and the 101st Airborne Division. Many of the extras in the film were veterans of the Screaming Eagles and that battle. Totally cool.
