Nirvana Short Rider. Autoflower. Feminized. 250Watt air-cooled Hps in 2x4 closet. Fox Farm - Happy Frog Soil, Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and ChaChing. Humboldt Roots. Myco Madness. Cal Mag. Humboldt Honey. Sledge hammer flushing agent. 18/6 light schedule until the very end then cut 14/10 last 2 days 12/12.

Super Happy the time was right when I woke up yesterday. Will get better pictures when I've had some sleep. They're in the dark drying now. I am pretty sure I have at least two ounces. It smells delicious, and I can't wait to see what it tastes and smokes like after getting cured for 180 days. I'm exhausted, going to go take a nap. Let me know what you think

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Also wanted to take a minute and say thank you to the people who've helped along the way. This is what I'm considering my first real harvest, and it probably would've resembled my 1st harvest (the one I'm trying to forget) had it not been for the invaluable help attained from the RIU community. There are always going to be the dickheads that want to hate on beginners, but aside from them everyone seems geniunely eager to help and pass along solid information. So, again, THANK YOU GUYS!!!

I didn't mention earlier, but my wife actually sat down and helped harvest. I was so amazed. She doesn't disapprove of my hobby, but she's not the biggest fan either. She doesn't smoke, but she said they looked so pretty she couldn't resist. I gave her a couple tips, and showed her a finished bud I had trimmed - and she started clipping away. When she showed me the 1st bud and asked if it was ok, I nearly shed a tear . Not only was it sexy to see her trimming bud, but she did such an amazing job at it. It really was hot. Anyways....

Here they are after hanging up for 24 hours. I moved them into this closet because it will be a lot less humid then the drawer I had them hung in. Does everyone think this is an ok spot & way for them to hang dry? ANY GUESSES ON FINAL WEIGHT? I said 2.5, but I truly have no fucking idea. Sometimes I look and think 4, sometimes I think 1.5. Either way, it tastes DELICIOUS from the couple of small samples I've had and gives me a tremendously relaxing but upbeat high ever, so I'm a happy camper. I think the only thing that might make this day better is if it was November 8th, 7am, cold, and I was in a treestand in the woods blitzed & watching the sun come up... bow in hand.


I had some hanging in this drawer, but couldn't sleep good cause I kept wondeing if the humidity would be too high.

Love the nute lineup. I run two lines, one of them is near identical to yours other then it's FFOF for me and Great White with Kangaroots and Microbe by FF. I don't use sledgehammer either.

Nice job, I agree most people on RIU are willing to help while there always some who just want to say "Fuck autos", well here you can say you've tried it and succeeded. Glad to hear you love the smoke, and just remind your wife, whatever $$ you DONT spend on weed, its more cash for you two to use on other things.

The buds are pretty well dry and smokeable now. Now comes the hard part - letting it sit & cure without smoking it all . I just got done weighing it and ended up with 58 grams, but I gave away, smoked, and baked with about 1/2 oz so far. That puts final harvest right around 2 1/2 oz. I am very happy and thankful things went as well as they did.

I absolutely love the smoke. It's so very fragrant- it's got almost a hint of ?sandalwood? or similar. It's got a super FULL bodied, earthy, definitely-grown-in-soil taste. And the buzz is nice and LONG LASTING. I am very happy at this being my first "real" harvest. I still have one of the Short Riders Flowering, and then I will set up my new tent in a couple days and start something new (not autoflowering)....

Thank you guys... That was great for my first run, but I want to do even better. The new sun hut tent is 54"x 35 1/2" x 84". I got a 6" Hurricane fan & 6" Phresh Carbon scrubber. I've already got an air-cooled hood so all I need to upgrade now is my ballast. I've been doing some shopping, and think I want to go with the Lumatek air cooled selectable ballast and run it on 600 Watts.

Feel ripped off... Bought a 600 watt Lumatek last night, got it home and the bulb blew immediately. It was used, so I guess Shit happens but it would have been nice to get more than 10 seconds of use. Going to buy a new bulb tonight, keeping fingers crossed that ballast is good

The 2nd Short Rider is going to get flushed soon with F.F. Sledge Hammer, then I'll give it one small feed - ph balanced water, Cal/Mag, and Humboldt Honey. Then nothing but plain ph'd water for another 7-10 days and it will come down. It didn't get much light in the closet because she got pushed to the side when the other one started doing so well. Now she's in a tent, and I'm hoping I can nurse her back to health and get a quality harvest.

I think you did a great job here! I've grown out this strain a few times. Never get much more than an oz per plant under a 400 hps. It's stinky and for me it's like ambien. Shit knocks me on my ass and it's time for sleep. When it's cured it's very potent.
