Have you successfully made RSO/Phoenix Tears/Cannabis Oil? Let's talk

Hey guys, I just ordered two ounces of high CBD bud to immediately start making cannabis oil / phoenix tears for a loved one who would like to try it in suppository format to help combat a cancer. I am however a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information out there with regards to extraction methods and would like to connect with someone from here (from southern ontario or elsewhere) for advice and consultation along the way.

Keep temps below flash point of whatever solvent your using, the MSDS will tell you this. A infrared thermometer is not a bad idea. You can get one cheap at Princess Auto.

If you like cannabis extracts, I would suggest you the MB2. Made coco oil, veg oil, and cannabutter with it. Very good device, but I have never made a tincture before. Here is a youtube video I found:

if you know any growers, ask for their trim. the oil won't be as strong but will still work and that'll be cheaper than buying from LP's

So Rick Simpson's original recipe is okay? Other rollitup posts said that his recipe was carcinogenic and inefficient due to the choice of solvent that the recipe called for, or something.

If the consensus is that his recipe is legit then I'll use it. There's no shortage of information out there about it.

i use 99% iso to make mine.
you're going to find people who have slants on everything so you have to find out what works for you. i met someone who refines theirs down even more than Simpson so it's more potent.
i couldn't get naptha and butane is right off the table.

Use Skunk Pharma to make the oil.
RSO is fine but chlorophyll isn't something you want.

COLD is KEY when making ISO.
ISO is polar and will break down water soluble crap and put it in your meds!
Use Skunk Parma's method.

No Chlorophyll!!!! Pure meds!

Supercritical co2 extractors are unaffordable for home use. Buying grams of co2 extracted cannibinoids from dispensarys then making your own caps/tinctures is the only way i can think of currently.

medpotnow sells co2 extracts, but to be honest the confusion that has already occurred in this thread is precisely the reason I started this thread , because now I am 10 times more confused than I was when I started lol
