I'm talking about people having trouble finding a family doctor with openings/availability, nothing to do with cannabis.

My youngest kid has to go to a clinic for healthcare, my GP had zero openings, even for children of current patients.

That would be nice if they grandfathered current ACMPR holders and their plant counts but I doubt it will happen. Your ACMPR license needed to be renewed annually anyways.

Limiting DG licenses per address is one of the few things HC does actually have jurisdiction over so that could easily happen, can't see them putting a cap on daily recs though, as that would be difficult to hold up in a court challenge when your very own doctor agrees that you need a large rec.

I was told there will be limit on grams per day, as they are going after the large gram per day places atm at least here they are. No one is going to fight this in court anymore or donate money to it like they did with the last court cast. Most of the weed lawyers are also working for the LP's now lol

That I don't know just been told at least in BC they are going after the large scripts and ones with greenhouses.
 
I wish there was more first hand knowledge available, seems to be mostly chinese whispers at this point.

Health Canada does have to publicize and report all site inspections for both ACMPR and LP's but their reporting cycle is so long/delayed that we wouldn't read about inspections being done right at this moment until 2023-2024 at least.

Info comes from people/customers that I know, that know people who have been visited/inspected but what's HC final solution no one knows atm.
 
Here in Ontario the last few years there have been a number of bigger greenhouse type busts. NO idea how those came about. Might be luck on the cops part or folks ratting them out. Or big script busts...dunno.
I haven't heard of any personal grows getting busted or inspected. Big grows seem to be on the radar.
Not surprised as the LP see the BM as the reason they are failing. And of course the gov and the pigs listen and obey like kids.
If legal weed was free I still wouldn't touch the CRAP...cuz I got principles about folks who bust folks for weed. I remember very well.

If the Government wants the BLackmarket / Grey Markets to switch over

1) They have to make it, be as easy as getting a liquor license, and people just paying taxes on the products sold.

There can't be a middle man system "tax " grab.


2) License's have to be easier to be acquired.

3) Advertising restrictions (should be beer and alcohol)

But back to health canada expecting these grows, I haven't heard of any large grows personally getting expected either.

What does one consider large 100 script plus ?

That is what is happening. I talked to one of my suppliers this morning about what they have heard and he said they're going after the large scale places. Which is exactly what I heard of from others and been told several large green houses were shut down in Langley.

Well if that is the case, who shut them down HC or the RCMP? It still sounds like heresay to me
 
Last year the OPP raided several 'medical grows' as per the news report but only some of the grows were shutdown due to plant counts...operation mosquito if anyone cares to google the details.

Yeah, the busts where they are 50k plants over the limit along with loads of fentanyl, illegal firearms and stacks of USD cash have little bearing on 99.9% of ACMPR growers or Health Canada.

Those kind of operations won't stop no matter what program updates come from HC. Only the media, failing LPs and conservative politicians are trying to fabricate some kind of connection/commonality.

Any designated grow i've seen with 3 or more recs at the same location has been extremely diligent about who's plants are who's and how and when they are tended to.

I can’t see how hc can limit script sizes. They have no legal authority to say a doctor can’t prescribe a certain amount of medication. If a doc issues a script for x amount of grams per day hc has to issue a license for it. The only thing I can see them doing is cutting back on the 5 plants per gram calculation. They could say with all the new tech blah blah blah people don’t need that many plants per gram of script. Also probably cut down how many licenses per property.
