Two pretty skocking outcomes for UFC 196; rear naked chokes are no joke.Upset... Nate Diaz rear naked choke over Connor McGregor.
@EfficientWatt
I was the exact same way when I built the Frankenstein Crowns back in 2014, extremely jubilant about my first cob DIY work and pushed everyone new to the scene to try it for the fun. I learned with the following cob diy project that there was vast room for improvement in terms of my craft.
How do you perceive my products to be the lowest in performance? What do you base performance on? PPF? Efficiency? What variables are you factoring in when you compare my lights to HPS? 600W? 1000W? Reflector? No reflector? Did you take into account that my fixtures are equipped with a dimmer switch? Did you take into account that my fixtures offer better spread and cob spacing, due to their size, than other brands? Did you consider the optics used and the underrated impact they ultimately make on our canopies, not our walls and ceilings? How convenient is it to force customers to have to place their lighting fixture 6" away from canopy for optimal performance??
It sounds like you're relatively new to the application and technical side to cob fixtures, EfficientWatt, regardless of your time as a member here so here's a bit of ease for ya. I've tested 600W HPS/MH and 1000W HPS/MH, with premium bulbs, hoods, ballasts, fans and tents and recorded those results. It turns out the Mothership blows both 600W HPS and MH out of the water with respect to PAR readings at similiar distances and consumes less wattage, around 150W less. Of course the Mothership can be ran at various currents, so there's no need to run her at this level of high performance. Those recordings can be found on my resource page.

Does a General take orders from a Captain? The mothership is relatively new to the scene, should have a grower or two in the coming months showcasing it's potential.
