I saw a case of parallel failure on RIU too but if I recall correctly, not every light/led being used was of the same make. In other words, it was either various mono led stars, red blue green etc, or various cobs, like a cree and bridgelux mix up. Anyways, don't worry, as I've built many fixtures, most of them being ran in parallel and have yet to have any cobs fail while in parallel. Also, Mean Well approves, the company that makes LED drivers for cobs.

When it's your business's namesake and basically your life being put into question, you sort of get angry when individuals try to take cheap shots at ya, especially when it's the same folk
I'd bet that most cob configurations for commercial cob units could handle a fan going out without any adverse affects, like a cob melting down, as they're built pretty tough, especially the Vero but you lose efficiency when Tc goes up.
