Heavy thick unthawed Potting soil surprisingly has not much date feedback!!

I'm in a rough situation because I have purchased some potting soil that was outside and where I live it's freezing so potting soil as unthawed and it feels like you know if it was a little muddy little little wet so I need some advice on when or how to pretty much dry out do I leave it in the bag or can I spread it out and dry it out any and all help any any info would help please

let it dry a little by spreading it out and add perlite if too heavy.

Spread it out to dry it out. Air circulation is your friend. Get it light, airy and well draining, As @Nutty sKunK suggests,
add perlite if required.

I water my soil completely on first use anyway and I just brought in three bales of pro-mix stored outside in Michigan
Put it straight to pots and allowed it to reach room temperature then I planted
I saw no reason to worry about "drying " it
